The Blu

NOT the typical thin, breakup sound of a 6.5 inch speaker. NOT a 12 + inch speaker either. Truly the best Small amp available. Handles my L5 admirably. If I play a bigger gig a 12inch extension seems better adapted than a smaller speaker (i use a Lunchbox ext). The Blu works best for me on a flat hard surface as it is ported on bottom. As usual with Henriksen amps they sound best playing jazz and I must decide at gig time to play it or my 110. My jazz playing partner plays a Quilter with an L5 also and definitely needs an extension speaker for jazz . I personalty feel either Henriksen is the better. OH yea, it is only 12 lbs. !!!!

Love this amp. Play mostly acoustic through it, sweet sound, very powerful for its size. Also having fun with Bluetooth, listening to my audible books too.

This little thing is fantastic! I was worried that it might be a little shrill at its size, but it's not. It's got a full, balanced tone that's great for jazz (which is what I play). It definitely has the feel of a solid state amp. The attack is very fast. If you've ever played a Polytone, this will feel familiar.I have not yet rehearsed or gigged with it, but in testing it out after it arrived, I turned the volume way up, and I have no doubt that it will hang with a jazz group.What should make every jazz player sit up and go "Say again?" is the weight. 12 pounds. Yup. 12. That's lighter than my backpack with my fake books in it..Is it the best sounding amp I've ever heard? Probably not. But it's up there, and for the size and weight, you really can't beat it.One thing I wasn't crazy about: The effects loop uses a single jack TRS connector. Henriksen will sell you a cable to use with it for $60. You can get a stereo splitter for $5.

Just got this amp yesterday. LOVE IT!!!! My Carvin AC 275, and my Tele sound great through this amp!!

I have used this for live playing and rehearsals and its absolutely superb. Not only does it sound better than any other acoustic amp but its also super light and portable.
