How sad this is to read a book that could work for just about any dog that has teeth and four legs and some fur. This is Definitely not enlightening for the dogo owner. I breed Dogo's for the last 20 years and you covered so little of significance, and so much of the fluff. Not even the basic information was included, A total waste of time. Have had pibulls for last 40 years,my boy Ticos 12 and last legs ,so love him but have to admit hes not going to around much longer.Did some research on Dogos and they are like a larger pit but they don't have the rip and shred mentality,there used to hunt puma/mountain lion or large hogs.But great temperament with family ,and my pits have been lovers but I wanted to try another breed.As my last dog probably I contacted a breeder but also needed to know more about the breed.They try you but you have to be the alpha male at home,they can go deaf,odd deal but you need a book like this to learn what the dogs breed is about and how to train and deal with there character.
