Kipper Karten. Kartenset: Original. Wahrsagekarten

These are the original German Kipper cards. Kipper cards are read directionally, and the way people cards are facing makes a difference to the reading. I so appreciate being able to get these, as not all modern day kipper card makers are paying attention to directionality. They were shipped in a timely matter, and came within several weeks here to the United States. They are not a playing card stock so they don’t ripple shuffle well, though they are a nice gloss coated cardstock that will hold up well for many years and many readings to come. I really like the kipper style of reading, it really gives a clear reading that many other more popular styles of readings do not always do.

I already have the Mystical Kipper deck but wanted a deck with the original art to use with Toni Puhle's Kipper book since correct directionality in the artwork is important. This particular deck came in a small plastic case rather than a cardboard box. I appreciate this because it protects them better and the plastic is sturdier. It doesn't come with any booklet, so online source material or a book is necessary if you don't already know how to read them. I highly recommend it for the little plastic case alone.

These Kipper Cards were in good condition and fit all my expectations. I'm new to Kipper Cards so I knew little, but these were the ones I was looking for. As a daily oracle they're interesting because there are a few cards depicting different kinds of people. For instance, the main man, the thinking man, the young man to give just a few examples. Plus there a few cards depicting different kinds of court scenarios and travel. You can really get a lot of details about a person's life from doing a reading with these. They are in German so if you aren't familiar you may need help. I learned how to read the cards through an online tutorial from someone who could.

The cards are lovely but it appears they don’t follow the original directionality of the traditional Kipper cards. The cards are in German which is great as it adheres to their tradition.

Version classique du Kipper. Dommage de ne pas le trouver en France (sinon par Amazon). J'aime beaucoup son charme suranné. Le Kipper n'est pas le jeu le plus facile en cartomancie, mais il vaut la peine d'être découvert. Contrairement aux apparences, ses règles et son univers son différents du Petit Lenormand. S'il en est un cousin éloigné, il doit s'interpréter de manière différentes. Ce jeu a son propre état d'esprit qui est l'univers des sibylles. On peut regretter qu'en France, il soit peu pratiqué et qu'il existe peu de manuels (à part celui d'Alexandre Musruck) pour s'y initier.

The cards are very good quality, nice thickness and easy to shuffle. They came in a handy clear plastic container. I'm more than happy with these quaint little traditional Kipper cards.

The original Kipperkarten. Text in German, but find a book for the meanings; these are the cards you will want to read Kipper the old way. Cards with figures turned the right way (very important in Kipper).
