This is Donald Goines as his best. The people are real, the situations gritty, just enough language to be believeable, and the action is rough. As always, when Donald was at his best, this book screams 'street' and the fact that the author knew everything there was to know about the life. It’s Donald Goines! What else needs to be said?

I bought this book for my brother.He says he loves it.He didn't want to give me a description of the book cause he wants me to read it.

This one was a 'slow starter' in that there were lots of characters introduced in one hit, with not a lot happening (or not so far as Goines' usual novels are concerned at any rate)... glad I stuck with it though as it definitely became more interesting/easier to empathise with certain characters as the book progressed.

Another book by donald goines that has a hell of a story line that is written plain and simple. No bull,no over writting and no alienation to any readers
