Overall. Like most mention, directions are not very clear. Constructing the base and back are not very difficult, it is placing the cushion frame in the base is difficult part since directions for this part are not clear where pieces go and almost takes 2 people to maneuver the frame into the base, though can be done with one person. The Cushion is comfortable, it just kinda sits in the frame and is not bound down but I have not had a problem with the cushion slipping or moving. The futon looks great and can fit 2 people sleeping pretty easily. There is also a feature I notice that allows you to place the futon back in 2 positions. One is more of an upright and one is more of a lean- found that nice if you wanted to recline a little.The downfall- It is hard to move from the bed position to the sitting position again. Almost takes 2 people and is not as easy as most futons are. Moving the futon from the sitting position to the bed is quite easy and only takes 1 person. I would almost take off 1.5 stars for this but overall pleased with the futon.

Product very well constructed, and very comfortable! Easy to put together, about an hour and very solid.
