HOOMILY Sunrise Alarm Clock, Wake Up Light LED Digital Clock for Bedrooms with Touch Control 7 Colors Light, 6 Natural Sounds, FM Radio and Snooze/Sunset Simulation

First off, i like the idea and i'm still using it. However, a few things were very poorly executed. First, the buttons are difficult to use and not intuitive at all. They are testy and sometimes you have to hold it longer than you'd think or don't respond at all. Also, they have no back lighting so in the dark or low light, you have no idea what to push. Also, good luck trying to figure out where they are without the lights on and a manual. This thing is not user friendly at all.Second and most important, there are only three clock display light settings. You can have the digital clock at lower light, high light, or off completely. The problem is, the low light setting is still so bright with the lights off that you can see it with your eyes closed! Funny that this light is meant to help you wake up gracefully yet it will keep you up all night if you set it by your head and pointing towards you as they recommend . I ended up having to turn off the clock completely to sleep with a major nuisance.The wake up light setting is kinda cool and i like that part. So again, good idea, but poor execution in a lot of areas. Returning it to try a different one with hopefully more intuitive operation in low light conditions and dark.Edit added 5/16/19: I am still being contacted by multiple people involved with this company, attempting to bribe me with an Amazon gift card if I choose to remove my previous review. I refuse to do so. Just so everyone is aware, this is the poeple and the corporate culture you are dealing with. Oh, and their English is still terrible. I'm just waiting to to tell me they are a Nigerian prince with a few million dollars for me.

I love this alarm clock! The gentle light is a game changer for me at wake up. It just hit me this morning that it has been so much easier for me to get up and head to the gym. 30 minutes before the alarm goes off the light gradually begins to get brighter as if the sun was rising. I was afraid I would wake up as soon as this started but it is so slight that I do not. By the time the birds start singing (which is just one of the choices for alarm sounds) my body seems to be prepared for wakeup. It seems less abrupt which makes for a much more enjoyable morning routine. At sunset I am so relaxed that I don't even make it to sundown. I have been sleeping sound and feel like the sleep is more restful. The set up was easy enough using the instructions and so far it seems like a good buy compared to other far more expensive versions. Ive had mine for a little over a week and feel like it is one of the best purchases I have made online.

This actually works really great to wake me up in the morning! Also this version was cheaper than many other that I saw that had fewer options. Worth the money!

Needs better instructions

My daughter was having a hard time getting up in the morning. This lets you set time where the day light starts 30 minutes before her alarm goes off. Also at night, set it for 30 minutes then lights off. This has help so much with the morning grumps.

I bought this clock to see if it would help me wake up in the early mornings. It works as described, I found the functions very easy to set up and operate. The only negative I have about this clock is that it is fairly lightweight so I have to be careful hitting the buttons to turn off the alarm or it flies across my nightstand.Overall, it does provide a much gentler wake up than a jarring buzzing sound. The light itself doesn't exactly wake me up fully, but when the alarm sound goes off I can tell that the light has brought me out of a deep sleep. I don't regret this purchase. :)

So with the purchase of this product I have made a discovery: I'm just a bear to get out of bed no matter the circumstances. Beyond that, I believe this product works well enough, especially for the price. If you wake up easily the very beginning of when the light turns on might be a little sudden, but then again, if you wake up easily you may not need this product to begin with.I saw in another review before buying this that some people heard a little noise coming from it: it is almost identical to when you turn the TV on (just the screen, not the cable box). So if this is a sound that bothers you, don't turn the light on very brightly. The noise is absent when the light is at a more 'medium' level.I'll say I don't really love the sounds that it comes with, but if you read the instructions you can set an alarm volume, so theoretically you can just set the volume to zero and then you have the light minus the sound. (The light only works if the alarm is plugged in; the clock and I think the sound alarm continues to operate on battery, so basically if you were to loose power during the night.)So overall, after having had this product a few weeks, I have nothing bad to say about it.

Works as it reads. White light is dimmable and at its brightest will allow reading in a moderately-sized room. The quality of the light is outstanding - bright and easy on the eyes for reading.
