Works with radio as advertised
Installed on laptop with Windows 11. Installed cable per instructions and read data from radio. Made changes and added my own data. Than loaded data back into the radio. It works good.

Using the keyboard on the FT4rx could drive you insane as you learn what the functions will do. This could help many to realize satisfaction in use.

Way overpriced
This software is way overpriced for it does. My first mistake was buying a radio that is set up to be programmed using software (Yaesu FT-4X). Never again, but who knew..? Anyway, I had issue loading the software, as I had to hunt for the needed drivers the program was asking for... The instructions don't really point you in the right direction. After the program was loaded it did an 'update' and failed. I had to email tech support with an error file attached, and they told me to rerun the software with a link they provided. My next radio will be one not requiring a software load. Nothing but trouble...

the item does what it is suppose to; however, I think it is way over priced just to get more money..so I only gave it two stars.
