Level is good, I like it. The stud finder isn't worth it. Piece of crap. I had high hopes for the stud finder as I just painted my house and didnt want to put a bunch of holes in the walls, well, that backfired.

Lazer level feels cheap and no really good way to mount in place. Stud finder straight up doesnt work at all. If you think the stud finder is a good addition then look somewhere else. You could literally watch it detect studs when held in the air.

This is a good set. The laser level works well and it’s nice having the built in measuring tape. Glad it included the hanging tool; I had seen these before but had not purchased. Makes it easy to get a nail in the right spot. That being said, it’s still difficult hanging 2 same size pictures with picture wire next to each other because the picture wire length is likely not the same exact length. You have to use both the level and the hanging tool at the same time, which is a challenge even with 2 people. We got it done though.

Laser will too if you are working alone. Also if you like your BRAND NEW items to work, do not buy!! Measuring tape should be on other side with RAISE laser for leveling. If you have someone with you to do any job this will work. This is not for a one person job. The stud finder is not working. Tried it...says it found it, okay well if you want to do the job right you go over your work before destroying your wall. I went back over it, it showed all different spots. Rechecked the new spots, again all different spots. So the stud finder is a good tool to piss you off. I tried a different wall....egg same thing. The level is good, but I've never seen anyone mess up a level. I will give it a second chance today(6/15) after I replace the battery. If it works I will add a star but other than that. Nope, do not buy.

This unit is nicely thought out and well built. The combination of triple level (horizontal, vertical and 45 degree), ruler, measuring tape, and laser - work well together. Frankly I was expecting a cheaply-made toy, but this arrived already loaded with the batteries plus a very useful picture hanging tool to help with a varied of pic hanging methods. Great set! The tape measure automatically locks when extended, then retracts on the push of a button. It makes a lot sense: I don't want to have to fight the tape to keep it open, then lock it to measure. Overall, well thought out, well built, well packaged, and well shipped. An excellent job.

The good -- Nifty concept of a 3-in-on level, laser, and tape measure. It came with a bonus hanging tool that is pretty useful. The dealbreaker -- The bubble level is not level. It's off -- way off. I attached a photo showing this level on a flat surface, with a different level on top of it. As you can see, the bubble indicator on this level is way off. Since the laser is only as accurate as the level, this product was not useful to me with this defect. The problem seems to be that the bubble level chamber is not tightly mated to the device. There is a bit of play in how it sits, so that the bubble chamber is free to move slightly inside its housing. Not a precision device at all. Also, the laser curves after about 6 inches, so it's not reliable either.
