Huron/Hueter Toledo Red Fire Plug Chest - Large

Unlike most fire plug lawn decorations, this is a full-sized fire plug. It looks nice and is well constructed of heavy plastic and serves well as a container - in our case, for squirrel food! Our little dog loves to chase the squirrels, so we encourage their visits to keep him entertained. The squirrels know he will never catch them, so the cocky little things hang right outside his run and taunt him.

The Fireplug is what it says it is. Large plastic bin. The top doesn't really "Snap" on but fits pretty snuggly. Bit expensive for what it is, but the description is accurate and it did arrive timely.

I actually bought this to try to train my dog to pee on so I could try to get him to stop peeing on the table leg in my basement. (I set it on top of some absorbent pads first of course) It kind of worked, and kind of didn't, but that is of no reflection on the product whatsoever. This was the only thing I could find that was close to the size of a real fire hydrant.I am not actually storing anything in it at present, but it has a nice big top that goes on and off easily. Would be cute for storing toys or treats or even dog food. It is not "tupperware" airtight, but the lid is pretty snug and currently I just leave my dog's food in the bag and it is not sealed at all and he does not seem to mind.

I purchased this fire plug for my fire truck loving 3yr old for his third birthday and he absolutely loves it. We use it to store all of his fire fighting equipment, belt, hose, ax, goggles, etc. It's the perfect size and looks great in his room!

I bought this for my dog so he has a target to pee on it in the house. After I opened the box, I really think this thing is definitely overpriced. This things doesn not worth $42.

Cheaper than I expected with the price I paid.

Needs a weight inside (stones, water) The idea of it is wonderful. It is well made,as well. Unfortunately my male dog refuses to use it as he appreciates my bushes so much more. (and kills them in the process..:( )

I put this in my dog run more as a decoration. It is soooooo cute my sisters want one. The minute I took it out of the box and set it up the dogs used it.
