This would get 5 stars if not for an issue with the threads being too short for my shower head. Basically the end where the shower head attaches isn't quite long enough to touch the rubber washer in the shower head socket, so it leaks a little. I fixed it by adding a second rubber washer. Also, I had to tighten the middle section a bit to eliminate a tiny leak - this is where the 2 sections come together and capture the plastic swivel ball seal. Tightening this part also increases the tension on the ball joint, making it stiffer to hold position better. This was easy to do, but for someone less mechanically inclined it may not be obvious, so some basic instructions would be a good idea (none included). Otherwise, I really like it and it seems to be a great value, as it is very hefty and the finish is nice.

I've just installed it. At first, it leaked a lot from all joints as some reviewers mentioned. The shower head adapter side is a little bit short, O-Ring short. To the supply side had an O-Ring and noticed that the filter had a built-in rubber ring. So put the O-Ring to the shower head side. The leak now localized on one single point, the ball joint. Tightened the ball joint little bit and the leak stopped. The ball joint still allowed smooth movement. It seems installing the provided O-Ring would be the simple solution to the design flaw. The manufacturer needs to review this and add 1/8 inch to the thread or provide the second O-Ring to solve the design flaw.

Had purchased a new shower head and was disappointed with the limited range of motion. Needed the shower head to point more towards the floor since I'm shorter in stature. This ball swivel worked perfectly! Now I can adjust the shower head so it works for me. I had read reviews which stated that it tended to leak, but I used teflon tape (which was included) when I installed it. I did not use the teflon tape that was included, but rather some I already had. Not a single leak. The only problem I had was that the ball wouldn't rotate when trying to move it with my hands. I put it in the vise and hardly had to put any pressure on it for it to begin to move freely.

Attached to a shower head I can't get it to not leak attached to the wall plumbing. Taped the threads, tighten down progressively as far as can go and then too much and always leaking. Also the ball when arrived is too stiff to move, then when got to move it moves too easily. Took off and replaced with a fixed curved pipe. And the flat area to put on a wrench is so small, had to use a channel plyer and destroys the chrome. Pass.

An unusual rating & comment, because a subject like this would normally require "standard" plumbing codes.But why not give the manufacturer credit for doing an excellent job! Fits great and the amount of swivel is just what I wanted. I'm so tired of purchasing shower units with built-in swivel...BUT the quality of the spray and adjustments vary so much, I decided to construct my own. Ending up with a simple, non adjustable spray costing $3+ but directing a light, smooth overall rain without empty areas where there is no water forthcoming.Spray head connected to a 90 degree brass unit, attached to a quality flexible hose long enough to reach my toes!

this works great, exactly as advertised, our shower head mount was on an angle that used all of the adjustment on the shower head and still shot all the way to the other wall without being able to tip down any more. Added this piece in between and with the adjustment of both, the head can hit anywhere we desire.

Worked perfect. I have a very small shower that has a shower head with a swivel on it already. But the swivel wouldn’t angle down far enough to hit me. It would just kind of hit your forehead. Lol. But this worked out perfect. Have it enough of an angle to point down at me. No leaks. Sturdy product.

This product took about 10 minutes to install. I used some Teflon thread sealer tape to make sure there were no leaks. This adapter allows a full range of motion on the showerhead, that I did not have before. I wish I had installed this year's ago. I have had it installed for about 4 weeks now with no issues.
