More mood lighting than lamp
Noticeably light weight and somewhat dim light. USB powered but the supplied power cable is only a metre long so may not be universally usable. A bit of a faff to set up with the app as it only uses a 2.4Ghz connection.

Not a lamp...but a great small form factor mood/night light
As always devices like these always have room for improvement but it does the job as a mood light and it does it well.Only 2 issues I had with the product are...1. The brightness and2. The initial connection process to the smart life app.It would have been better if it had a higher intensity at max brightness. It doesn't flood my bedroom (approx. 5M X 4M) with colour so I feel I need to purchase a second unit to get the desired effect.The initial setup and connection seemed quite 'hit or miss'! Don't get me wrong though as once I got it connected, everything worked fine. Google home has no issues with it either.Not deal breakers but as long as all you need is a mood/night light this ticks the required boxes but don't expect it to illuminate the room completely like a lamp.

Easier to set up via Wi-Fi Router page, works well with Alexa.
Arrived promptly and we'll packed. The lamp is smaller than expected and more of an addition than main light. Took a while to get set up, had to go to my router and turn off 5g. Once set up I seem to be able to control it a lot easier via Alexa app and Dot instead of the Smart life app.Currently experimenting on how different colours make me feel, the Red potentially seems like its gonna bring on sleep. 😴

Low light and very basic
Just very cheap feeling - plastic and basic. The Google and Alexa work fine. It's not very bright but if your leaving it in one place and don't need to much light then I guess it's an option. Like everything cable could have been longer. It's usb and does Not come with a plug but had one spare sure mosh will. I wouldn't recommend this as it's just to cheap feeling in the hands but it does a job.

Check your WiFi band !
I only had 5GHz band to choose from in my WiFi speed. So I had to walk away down the garden to where my WiFi automatically changed to 2.4 GHz which this light would only connect to.Luckily for me it WORKED! If it wasn’t for You Tube I wouldn’t have found out how to do this bizarre act.Multi colours are great and you can dim it too which is useful , and linking up with Alexa was the criteria I really wanted out of a lamp.Extremely happy in the end 😀

Cheap build, just about does what it claims, dim and poor colour response, no battery
Cheap in terms of quality, dim and the colour range is pretty much the worst I've seen on the hundreds of LED devices I've bought over the years. It really can't do strong colours and has very few steps of blend between the few it can manage. It wasn't hard to set up on my phone / to then work with Alexa, but I should have read that it has no internal battery. Without that, it's a lot less useful to me. My mistake, as some similar bulbs can be charged, but not this one. Usable as a soft night light, but really bare minimum for the price.

it was ok but i couldn’t figure out how to connect it to my phone with a 5ghz wifi

Not Bright
Connects well with wi fi and Alexa, unfortunately it's just not bright enough for use as a bedside lamp for reading at night, which was my reason for buying it.
