Poorly made, falls apart
I purchased this item, primarily to be used with the suction cup adapter, hoping to use it to change track lights in my high ceilings. From the very first time I used it, attaching the suction cup to a bulb, instead of the light bulb unscrewing when turning the pole, the suction cup would come unscrewed from the adapter and have to be pulled off the bulb. This is not the adapter coming loose from the pole because I failed to tighten it.This is the adapter itself coming apart because it was poorly made.As can be seen in the attached photo, with all the ways to attach the suction cup to the adapter, the makers of this product chose to attache it by a screw... so of course it can come unscrewed every time it is used.I screwed the suction cup back on multiple times and every single time i attempted to unscrew a light bulb, the suction cup always came off, no matter how lightly I turned the pole.Complete waste of money.No.

It's just a bad product
I should have read the reviews on this before I bought it. This is just a bad product. It won't unscrew the lightbulb--when you turn it to unscrew the bulb, the entire handle unscrews. It also pulled my entire canned light out of the ceiling!! I ended up having to drag out a huge ladder to get the contraption off the bulb.

Get Ready to Drop a Bulb (or two)
This item is a piece of junk. Suction cup does not hold a light bulb for anything. Drops bulbs, did not complete the job, and to cap it all off... had to replace the replacement bulbs I already purchased and buy a completely different tool. Save yourself the money -- bad buy.

Confucius Fixes Stupid Design
I was astonished how stupidly this product was designed. When you try to unscrew a bulb, the attachment on the end of the pole unscrews from the pole, leaving the attachment connected to the bulb. But Confucius found a solution to this Made-In-China problem. No, tightening the plastic set screw won't work. It rests against the plastic threads of the pole. Instead, Confucius says, drill a hole into the pole threads so that the set screw inserts itself into the threads. That way the attachment is locked.

I've used similar light bulb changers before and this one was HORRIBLE. I had to change a light bulb about 11 feet in the air on a stairwell. Here are the issues I had with this kit:1) The head didn't screw on well. The plastic bit that screws on the parts just wasn't sturdy.2) The tightening and loosening function on the pole itself wasn't secure at all. When you turn it left to unscrew the light bulb, the pole on locks and collapses.3) The flood bulb head doesn't fit in a standard flood bulb ceiling socket. In most of the houses I've lived in, vaulted ceilings have flood bulbs. The head for flood bulbs gets stuck in the light container.4) The pole and heads just 'feel' cheap. They don't work well at all. Here's the story of what happened when I tried to replace a bulb.I attach the head...several times because it doesn't like to stay on....and then I try to get the head around the bulb. It barely fits after some finagling. I go to unscrew the bulb and the pole onlocks and just spins. After trying for about 10 minutes, I give up and try and remove the pole from the bulb. The head comes off of the pole and just hangs from the bulb, 11 feet in the air on a staircase where I can't get to it with a ladder.I eventually call a friend to climb a scaffold to get the damned pole off the bulb and change the light.Worst purchase I've made so far. Next time I'll just go to Home Depot and buy a decent one. Don't go cheap or you'll regret it.

While it KIND OF installed the light bulb, the construction is so poor that the top arm spins loosely no matter how tight you make it, so there is really no way to tighten a bulb that is not that smooth on install. It's such a nightmare to return something like this (Hence I'm starting to use Walmart.com more for these common items, there's a store on every corner), I'm now left to go to Home Depot to attempt to buy one of better construction. My house was built in 2008, so it's not some super old difficult fixture. I would not buy this product. Shipping was great, on time.

Junk!
This product is a cheap toy. The pole extends and then twists to secure. All fine, until you try to unscrew the bulb. That's when the pole untwists instead of the bulb. After several attempts, even using pliers to secure the pole in an extended position, it still failed. Then the suction cup came off the end of the pole, and remained attached to the bulb. Even the string used to get the suction cup off the bulb is cheap. It is a very thin string that tangles easily.I wish I had read more of the reviews before i bought this product.

A joke
Did not work. Not even for a second. When put around bulb, it would turn the opposite way, so yeah... Couldn't get to to not turn the other way, no matter how hard we tried. Returned same day
