2 compartments 1st compartment: several small pockets great for carrying phone, ipad, pens, cards, calculator, etc. 2nd compartment: clear of any obstructions and multifunctional. Detachable and expandable shoulder strap with a comfortable padded middle section. Padded handle on top. Extendable telescoping handle 2 sturdy wheels at the bottom. Zippers can be locked together (locks not included). The strap in the back can be used to fit over a carry-on handle in order to secure it in place. Note: Main area can carry laptop but does NOT have padding. Sleeves may be used to keep electronics safe (sleeves not included)
