Works, quiet
So far it's only been set up for a week but is working amazing! Super quiet, actually moves the water and doesn't overheat. Wish I wouldn't have wasted money and a few months trying a different brand before this one. Hopefully this review will hold true for years 😉

great pump
works great , its very quiet, easy to install only negative is there is no on off switch on the pump, so to change the settings on the filter such as back flush the filter or whatever, you have to unplug then plug back in to stop back wash then plug back in to put it on filter again. We have an outside receptacle by the filter so no big deal for us

IS IT ON?
Quiet as a church mouse. Yet roars like a lion regarding suction and the ability to circulate the water. If I didn't see the water rippling, I would think it wasn't on. Price is unbelievable at half the price of a Hayward.

Pump working great so far, but THREADS DO NOT FIT
It’s finally working well so far( about 2 weeks) but lots of trouble finding the reducer to fit the pump to filter pentair hose. Outside threads don’t fit ! Only inside threads will work then you need a 11/2 to 2 1/2 reducer FROM A POOL STORE. Nothing from plumbing stores or “ often purchased together “ will work! It seems to be powerful and quiet ( if that matters to you) . I care if it works and it’s durability. Lots of wastes time to find correct fitting. Buy the extra warranty and it’s still cheaper than pentair or Hayward. Only time will tell if it’s durable.

Excellent. High quality. 100% legit
I tried this pump based on the reviews...excellent choice!! This pump is just as good, if not better than, my old name brand pump that quit. I am 100% happy and have zero complaints. Theres no annoying, hard to reach on/off switch. You just plug in and unplug when you want it off. Its quite than my old name brand pump and just as powerful. I can't believe I waited so long before replacing my old pump. Dont hesitate, you will be getting a high quality pump with all the power and work horse that the expensive name brands offer. Id guarantee its the exact same pump just with a different brand name sticker on it. Buy this & don't worry!!!! I did buy (2) of the white pipe fittings (hose adaptors) extra, which fit perfectly to my filter and hose. They were inexpensive and necessary to fit your hoses to this pump. I think they were like $4/each

Excellent Replacement for an Intex Pump
I just purchased and installed the 1.5 hp version for my 12x24 Intex pool. The Intex pump died almost 2 years after installing it new. The new Harris pump works very well!I also purchased two Swimline Hose 1 1 Adapters (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002ZIZG0Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). You will also need two hose clamps (1 3/4" to 2 3/4" size) as well as some pipe thread tape for the adapters. The new pump was easy to install. This pump has twice the horsepower of the previous Intex pump. We also have an Intex pool cleaner (affectionately known as the "Pool Dork") and it now zips around the pool far better than before. Our Intex pool skimmer also works much better. To install, close the two hose valves attached at the pool, then disconnect the hoses at the pump. Remove the old pump and put the new one in place. Put white thread tape on the two adapters (2 or 3 winds), then screw them into both ports on the new pump. Use channel locks to tighten them so they are snug (but don't over-tighten them). Put the existing inlet and outlet hoses on the new pump ports using the hose clamps. Tighten them snugly. The top port on the new pump goes to the filter; the end port goes to the pool. Open the two hose valves at the pool. Then slightly open the top of the basket on the new pump so the basket area fills up with water. Then tighten the top snugly. Plug in the new pump and turn it on. Be sure to check for leaks around the adapters. Tighten a little at a time until no water is leaking, if necessary. There is no switch on this pump. I have it plugged into a timer that looks like a power strip. I'm sure you can find a similar one on Amazon. I got mine at Home Depot or Lowes. I also use another plugin timer that is plugged into the power strip timer to control the Intex LED pool light. I also had to use a 2 x 10 board to raise the new pump a little higher so the filter hose would reach. See the attached picture.I hope this helps!

Good pump
Quick delivery. Quiet pump. Plenty of power. Needed an adaptor piece to finish plumbing that fit great. Once you get it primed, you will be happy with this pump.

Deserves 0 stars.
Bought this May of 2023 to replace a Hayward pump that had lasted nearly 10 year. Trying to save some money, I went with this brand. Big mistake. It's already quit working and the company simply said, sorry, the warranty was up in May.Complete waste of money.Don't bother with this product, spend the extra money and get something that will last.
