Update: I've had the case for 4 months now. Dropped it hard quite a few times and the tablet is fine. Without this case my tablet definitely would have been broken by now. Great investment, highly recommended. All of the other Shield Tab cases don't look like they would protect anywhere near as well as this one. One more side note. The charger port door is holding on fine, no rips. Examining the case now, it has. Absolutely no wear and tear on it yet. Considering I use my tablet for hours every day, it is in like new condition. I have never used the kick-stand. I prefer to hold my tablet with two hands when using it, or I rest it on something... Considering the amount of time I have spent fiddling with the charger port door for no apparent reason, I am surprised it is in like new condition. Poetic cases are definitely top quality, brute proof. Great case! It looks amazing and I feel that it makes my tablet almost completely drop proof. More companies should make cases for the shield. The power and volume buttons work perfectly. People who have problems probably had the first gen shield that had flush buttons. I'm using this on my Shield Tablet K1 16gb. Fits like a glove. The hole in the case where the stylus would be isn't a big deal, it doesn't compromise the case's integrity or look odd. The case doesn't effect my wifi signal, so gamestream works fine. All in all, I am extremely happy. I'll definitely buy more Poetic products in the future. Side Note. Another reviewer complained that the poetic logo was upside down. This has apparently been fixed, as my logo is correctly positioned.

Makes your tablet look premium. 2. Nicely rugged and offers good protection from short drops. 3. Built-in screen protector. 4. Built-in kickstand. 5. 3-year manufacturer warranty. Cons (with recommended solutions): ----------------------------------------------------- 1. Need to cut a small layer of the power and volume buttons so that it doesn't turn off the tablet as you put on the case. 2. The buttons, as well as the flap which covers the ports, are hard to press/open. So, if you cannot live with it, then cut/trim them off with a blade. 3. You cannot glide the DirectStylus or your finger over the plastic screen protector sheet's surface as smoothly as you can over the tablet's own glass screen surface. Though it's not much of a problem, it sometimes annoyingly registers a click (unwantedly) during a swipe. Here, you may opt for cutting out the screen sheet from the case (which is actually hard-glued to the case) and stick your choice of screen protector directly onto the tablet with the case still on. 4. Kickstand seems a bit fragile, so use cautiously. Conclusion (long story short): ------------------------------------------ If you are not opting for the NVidia's official Sheild Cover (come on, it's costly OR if you don't like the flip-cover style), then this is the best one which you should consider buying. It offers good protection to your tablet, both in terms of screen, as well as the overall tablet body. Also, it is nice to hold the tablet in your hand with the Poetic case on and makes your tablet look good too ;) There are a few minor geometrical construction problems with this case (hence a 4-star), but you can manage to live with it. Hope the Poetics acknowledge this one. I would still highly recommend this Poetic case for NVidia Sheild tablet as the other 3rd party cases don't even come close to what this offers.

Pros: Full protection with integrated screen protector Cons: dem buttons Problem: button nubs would stay in contact with the button of the device making them inoperable Solution: I took my knife to the nubs, shaved them down a bit, and now I can use the buttons on my device. Update: after less than 12 hours of using the thing and doing further adjustments on the nubs inside the case buttons, I have given up. It was either spend about the same amount for a tempered glass+rugged case combo (which the Poetic Turtle was THE only one,) spend slightly less for for a TG+folio solution (or spend more if I opt for the official case.) The poetic turtle didn't have a built in stand and I needed a rugged case, so instead I cut out the offending parts and increased the usability of the case exponentially. Another negative thing to note is the flap for the ports. If left open for some time it will be hard to keep shut unless you hold on it for a bit. Considering putting a wireless charging receiver on the back so I wouldn't have to open it. Summary: Poetic Revolution wins because all the contestants failed to show up/didn't qualify. Not worth $29, but shield k1 owners are left with very little options. Update: Poetic contacted me, and long story short they sent me a replacement Turtle for free. Short review: the Turtle offers less protection but more usability. If only the rubber membrane on the Turtle was on the Revolution then the latter would have been perfect. Makes the tablet look a bit goofy. Suffice to say I am using a generic folio cover as my daily driver. The tablet will be going into the Turtle if ever I would take it somewhere that requires more protection than the Turtle gives.

I recently accidentally broke my old android when it slipped from a recliner to the tile floor, a two foot drop. Luckily for me, even though my warranty was up, the people were kind and shipped me a new one and my husband refused to let this one suffer the same fate and so he bought this. So far, it hasn't broken and I have no issue with the screen overlay making it difficult to swipe or draw or anything. Only sucky part is the power button and volume buttons need to be pressed *just* right or you feel like you are wrestling with the case. But aside from that, very nice. There's a cut out for where the stylus comes out and doesn't obstruct anything. Overall very nice for the price. Edit: There is a simple solution to fixing the buttons. What I did is I took some printer paper, cut a sliver out and folded it no more than say 3 maybe 4 times. (thickness needs to be adjusted for each cover you have) Than I stuck it between the case and the button and now the buttons are MUCH more sensitive to the touch. You no longer have to death claw the buttons in order to turn it on. Just a simple soft touch.

This thing is a piece of garbage. I was hoping to find a competant bumper case but....well, I've known for a while to avoid Poetic gear. I've purchased from them before and I've always been disappointed. Well, at least Poetic is consistent. This case is ALSO a major disappointment, even more so because this is the only bumper case I could find on Amazon. What issues did I have with it? Hey, glad you asked. The kickstand keeps falling out of its own accord. The screen protector causes noticeable input lag and sometimes forces you to touch the same area twice. It doesn't REALLY fit very will. And the flap covering the HDMI and micro USB ports is stiff enough to put significant pressure on anything plugged into those ports. So yeah, this thing sucks. I sent it back for a refund and bought a folio case from Fintie instead.

I am really having conflicts to give this item 3 or 4 stars, definitevely, not 5 (UPDATE: Degraded to 2 stars). Is a very nice rugged case, with a very nice screen protector, I like its toughness but... The cover that encloses the HDMI, audio and micro USB connectors, is a design flaw, a very important flaw. When you need to connect the HDMI or the USB ports to a cable, this rubber cover tends to go to its closed position, and with a USB or HDMI cable attached to the tablet, this cover produces enough force to bend the cable connector, with risk for a mid-long term for the inside slot of the connector of the tablet to be broken due to that force. Every time I connect a cable, I need to put something in the cover to avoid that back force to bend the connector. I am also thinking to cut that cover... Now the update: Stand hinges are not solid. Right hinge broke just extending the stand due to the tablet's own weight. After 6 months of use its weakness appeared, as stated by other customers, the stand and connector cover are the great flaws of this case. Now I am buying a stand.

Nice case, very study, but does have a few flaws. Pros: solid construction; feels like this thing could take some abuse. Padding on back, inside case. That is its padded in the area that will be touching the shield logo on back. Easy to get stylus in and out. Kick stand on back built in for portrait mode. Makes playing games easy. Room for cables: it has room to fit both USB and HDMI without hitting case. Cons: The plastic used is a little on then hard side. Its not like rubber, but its not like the brittle platic. Which leads to problem with pushing button on top, especially the power button. Its very hard to turn the power on and off. I might have to mod it and put something under the bumper (piece that makes contact with actual power button) so its easier to turn on and off. Seriously , it takes quite a bit of pressure to turn it on. I'm hoping it breaks in and becomes easier over time. The plastic screen protector creates a bit of drag with stylis . no where near as smooth as it was on the glass. Again! Maybe this will improve over time. Some people like a little drag as well, so could be a pro for some. The kick stand needs a tab or something to deploy it. Im a guy and my finger nails are trimmed low and I find it diffuclt to get under the small cut out in order to pop it out. I basically need something small, like my pocket knife to deploy it. Overall, Im pretty pleased with the quality of the case and the price is decent, considering they want $40 for the nvidia case and that doesn't provide complete protection; just covers the front. My biggest complaint is that power button. If it was easier to turn my device on and off this would be 5 stars. I think they just need to soften the plastic up a bit more, or make it raised so it applies more pressure on power button.

Excellent case for the Nvidia Shield Tablet. Provides full coverage protection, fully enclosed, dust seal at the plug ports, and built in screen protector which fits perfectly and doesn't leave any air gaps. I feel my tablet is truly protected with this case. No clue about any heat issues but I've been running the tablet on grid and its been fine so far. The built in stand is great, it keeps the shield propped up at a decent angle in portrait mode, feels a bit thin but you shouldn't be putting too much pressure on it anyways. There is only 1 plus/minus, the power button and volume buttons were a pain to press before due to small size and little pressure feedback. This case turns the small button into larger square buttons but they are rock hard. They work but its not easy like i hoped it would be. Still I give this a 5 though since its the ONLY full protection case for the Shield Tablet.

某日本メーカー製の耐衝撃耐防水（このケースにそんな機能はないですが）タブレットのようなビジュアルとスタンド機能付き（ゲームするにはやっぱスタンド欲しい）に惹かれ、他レビューにある件は改造する腹づもりで購入。 案の定、他レビューにあった通りにコネクタのフタがクセを付けると戻らなくなりました。硬すぎるんでコネクタにも負担をかけそう…なので、フタのヒンジ？根本？にカッターで切り込みを入れ曲がりやすくしました。結果フタはちゃんと閉まるようになりました。 更に電源スイッチ＆ボリュームコントロール部分のフタも硬くてまったく押せない！挙げ句の果ては押しっぱなしになってしまう症状も…この部分にも両横と下の部分にカッターで切り込みを入れて解決。押すには遊びがなさ過ぎるんですなこれ。 最後に画面を覆うクリアパネルも切除。ガラスフィルム貼ってるので更にこのパネルがあると感度低下しますし感触もザラザラしてて嫌なので。 これで完成です！カッコイイです！ゴツくてｗスタンドも角度調整出来ないものの立ってりゃいいのでこれで満足～ 簡単な改造すれば十分使えます！改造しないと使えません！購入検討してる方は改造必須の覚悟で！

Possedevo già una cover Revolution Series per il mio smartphone, e appena ho visto questa sono andato sul sicuro. Solida, resistente, molto ben protettiva del device. I tasti risultano un pochino difficili da pigiare, ma è un piccolo prezzo da pagare per la sicurezza. Personalmente ho rimosso la pellicola in plastica sul fronte della cover perché sul tablet ho montato una pellicola in vetro; ci stanno benissimo entrambi, ma il feeling del vetro è decisamente migliore quindi rinuncio senza problemi. Ottimo prodotto, consigliato

I bought this case after I decided that the official case didn't provide enough protection to my tablet. The case is great, and comes with a built in screen protector which surprisingly doesn't cause much of an issue with the touch screen (it's a little bit slower, but not overly) - meaning that the screen is protected from scratches without the annoying thing when the screen protector starts to peel off. The buttons on the side are a bit stiff, but not unusable and will loosen up with use I imagine. The only issue I've had is that the part of the case that covers the ports is relatively difficult to put back into place after charging and takes a while to make it lie flat. Overall thouugh the case is great, and I feel like I could drop my tablet and it would come out unscathed (although I'm not going to try it!).

mein Sohn hat schon vor einer ganzen Weile diese Schutzhülle für sein Tablet bekommen und diese ist wirklkich ein Rundumschutz. Sogar beim Runterfallen ist dem Tablet nichts passiert. Bei anderen Hüllen hatten wir nämlich trotzdem schon die Spiderapp auf verschiedenen Geräten. Das kann hiermit wirklich nicht passieren, das der Schutz wirklich rundherum ist und auch die Kanten gut geschützt sind. Nach Ewigkeiten hatten wir dann auch mal den Aufsteller, zum Hinstellen bemerkt. Der hat zwar nicht so lange gehalten bzw. ist bei dem einen Mal runterfallen abgebrochen, da er zu dem Zeitpunkt eben nicht eingeklappt war. Also definitiv unser Fehler ;-). Nun bekommt auch der andere Sohn das zugehörige Tablet und dieser Schutz ist schon wieder im Warenkorb gelandet.

Esta muy bien... Lo protege absolutamente todo, la funda se divide en dos partes, la delantera que es de plastico q incorpora una lamina para la pantalla y la parte trasera que se encaja a la otra, la parte de atras es de plastico q viene cpn un soporte para apoyar la tablet y los bordes son comp de silicona, ideal para las caidas ..Y en si, la funda no pesa casi nada... Lo único malo es que cuesta un pelin presionar los botones de la tablet con la funda puesta... Evidentemente hace un pelin más gruesa a la tablet... Pero si buscar una protección todo terreno esta es la tuya...
