DEIONIZED WATER - Purified water that has had all minerals and chemicals removed. DECYL GLUCOSIDE - Newest of the ultra-mild surfactant blends for shampoo and body wash, it is naturally derived from corn and sugar and is an excellent cleansing agent. COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE - Provides good foaming and foam liquid stabilization with excellent wetting properties. Compatible with anionic, cationic, and nonionic surfactants. This mild, high foaming amphoteric surfactant is often used to boost and stabilize foam and improve viscosity in shampoo and body wash formulations. DISODIUM COCOAMPHODIACETATE - Extremely mild, amphoteric surfactant is not defatting to the skin and will not strip oils from hair. Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate is a moderate foamer and is recommended for sensitive skin, baby skin, facial products. For use in shampoos and body wash where optimum foam is desired, combine with another surfactant such as decyl glucoside and/or cocamidopropyl betaine for a mild high-foaming blend. GLYCOL STEARATE - Glycerin ester and stearic acid - vegetable/fatty acid source that conditions the hair. This ingredient gives the shampoo its pearlized quality. COCADIMONIUM HYDROLIZED HAIR KERATIN - This particular ingredient is especially beneficial to the hair. First of all, it is made from human hair. For that reason the amino acid profile is perfectly suited for restructuring, repairing and strengthening the hair shaft. Another remarkable feature of this ingredient is its ionic modification. Hair is normally anionic, or negatively charged, as are most proteins used in hair care products. This particular protein has been modified to be cationic, or positively charged. It is the resulting ionic attraction of the negatively charged hair and the positively charged protein that allows for significantly greater attraction, absorption and deposition of protein onto the hair shaft.
