This book has a lot of chords written in the typical fashion on a fretboard. It is small enough to be carried in the case.

I NOW KNOW HOW TO PLAY BUT NEED TO STICK WITH IT EVERY DAY IT SURE HELPED ME

This was a good book for a beginner which I am. Bottom line is be sure you know how your banjo is tuned i.e. open "G" or "C" etc. Can be very frustrating if you trying to learn chords and your reading the chord configuration if the banjo is tuned to "C" and your looking at the chord configuration for a banjo tuned in the open "G" position. Otherwise it was a good beginners book. Photos of the individual configuration would have helped some.

Shows a lot of chords in a few different tunings. This book has been helpful to find less-common chord structures.

If you're just starting on the banjo or have been playing for a while and want to improve your playing this book with give you alternate tunings for your chords and you'll find it invaluable.

Love using this book. Print is a little small, however, still usable. I like it a lot and I’m just a beginner.

Little harder for me to follow compared to Earl Scruggs Book

This is the information I was looking for before I bought this.This book is divided into 4 tuning sections: Open G - Standard C - Open C and Open D. Each section shows two positions for each chord with all the chords included (not just the more common chords). There are also fretboard diagrams for the four tuning possibilities and a section on chord construction.

Excellent value for money , every banjo case should own one for reference and ideas. I like to take a chord or set of chords at random , arpeggiate, pull them apart and put them rtogether in different orders , ideas germinate and from next to nothing a composition is born.. Hey ho. . .
