Great reference book for commercial construction drafting when working on commercial drafting and design!

good book great examples, the only thing is that the cd that comes with the book does not have the text book on it.

I expected more....

I guess I don't understand construction details, but I didn't understand a single problem in this book. I had to refer to my Construction: Materials, Methods, and Techniques by William Spence in order to answer the review questions. The problems were writtin in short hand with abbreviations I didn't know. I think this book might be a little intimidating to someone who is not familiar with construction or detailing.

Very helpful when I was in school but, still have the material for reference later.

This book is great. The book describes the construction process in great detail. Very helpful to understand other trades like structural design. Highly recommended for people in the construction industry.
