I bought these to replace the same numbers I bought 3 years ago for my mailbox. Originally the numbers required you to apply your own adhesive. The new version has 3M adhesive tape already applied, so they are a snap to install. The main problem with the original numbers was that they lost their coatings and tarnished fairly quickly when exposed to the elements on a mailbox. These numbers are the same stock numbers from the same manufacturer - I hope they have addressed the tarnishing problem.

These are beautiful and special and don't cost any more than plastic. they look fabulous and very expensive. They stay on well. I have had them on another mailbox outdoors, wet weather for two years. Had to have them at my new address. Get some you'll love them.
