It seems the "big box" stores no longer carry this style of brass numbers/letters. I was so happy to find it on Amazon for such a great price. You simply stick it on. However, I did clean the area where the mailbox number was placed, and it is adhering just fine--it's been several weeks now.

Bought product for neighbor who asked where I go the number for my apartment. It's supposed to be self-adhesive, but neighbor reported that this was not the case. He used super-glue to affix the number to his door, so I guess it worked out.

Small, but very good quality

Ordered two of each number needed for a four-digit mailbox number. All numbers were correct as was the quantity of each. Casting was just fine if not perfect on the front/sides (and that is coming from a perfectionist). No place had these locally off the shelf, and these are an exact match as my customer lives in a covenant-controlled subdivision where everything must always match as intended (I'm a professional Handy Man).

Pros - Nice looking. Good protective coating.Cons - Backs not very "flat". Casting debris on the backs some numbers.Overall - Gives a nice "hand made" look to the numbers on my mailbox, but the post casting cleanup could have been better (thus the four stars). Well pleased overall.

I was having a hard time finding numbers to fit my mailbox placard. This did the trick. Prep is everything! Clean the mounting surface and you’ll have no issues. They look great.

These are beautiful and special and don't cost any more than plastic. they look fabulous and very expensive. They stay on well. I have had them on another mailbox outdoors, wet weather for two years. Had to have them at my new address. Get some you'll love them.
