Hot Wheels Variations: The Ultimate Guide Kindle Edition

My husband and I are former HW Collectors. We are now selling off our collection and were looking to use this guide as reference material. The downloaded Kindle version (We can't speak about the printed version) is not the best layout in our opinion... when compared to a Michael Thomas Strauss publication or even some online resources. Additionally, the author does not follow the traditional naming convention for several Wheel Variations - rather, he makes up is own (Example: BBS instead of Laced (lw for Laced Wheel)) although, this is defined in his abbreviations chart is located near the end of the guide. The car's descriptions run together and you have to pay attention to what you're referencing as the associated car photos are sometimes pages away. Personally, we would not recommend the Kindle version of this guide for the price being charged.

An essential Tool for the serious and not so serious Hot Wheels Collector.Contains a very large amount of information about many variations of different Hot Wheels releases and as a tool it may pay for itself very quickly as it will help you differentiate between valuable variations and common easy to obtain models.I regard it and its predecessors as essential parts of my Library and yes, I constantly refer back to these books.Well worth buying.

This book is very difficult to use on the Kindle. Should have bought a hard copy.Save your money.

I actually bought this for a gift on Amazon for my father. He collects hot wheels and it will help him with pictures and pricing. I will actually borrow it from him to check out my hot wheels too. It was a awesome good deal on Amazon compared to other book stores.

i bought this for my son as a christmas present.....he collect hotwheels and it has all the information he needs he loves it, and looks at it constantly, good buy.

I had been wanting and trying to get this book for so long, was finally at a price I could justify paying and Im really happy with it.I ordered this on May 2nd and it took almost 3 weeks to receive.. HOWEVER.. I have two other Michael Zarnock Hot Wheels books, but this one is my new favorite. It has 100 more color photos and 500 more cars listed the "Hot Wheels Variations 2000-2013", and its been much much easier finding my older cars in it then all of the other books I have to date. Absolutely recommend this!
