Here's what you're really getting...
This is a small piece of foam that sticks to glass and plastic and withstands lots of un-sticking and re-sticking. The product photo is a bit deceiving -- the foam is actually white with just a black top layer. You can see the white all the way around the edge which doesn't really look that nice -- see my photo. Would I buy another? Sure, but I think $2-3 is a more reasonable price.

I like these a lot
I like these a lot, but I agree with a few things. The pic makes it look different than the product you actually receive. I was expecting something all black, almost vinyl looking, with a nice seam around the edges. Nope. The edges are white, and the item is not quite black, so it can be distracting. The fact that this thing works and does what it is supposed to do (keeps my camera private, easy to remove, no residue) means I'm willing to get used to it, though.I understand they have to make a profit somehow, but it really is pretty overpriced. I think $4.99 for 2 is a more appropriate price, but again, I try to understand that they have to make it worth their while.Overall I'm satisfied, but to get 5 stars it would need to be all black, a little more sturdy (it starts to fray fairly quickly if it is touched/moved) and should be a better value. (2 for $5, 5 for $10, or similar.)

Stylin' camera covers; high speed low drag.
Camera privacy covers, long lived, with a very low profile, they stay in place. They are easily cut to smaller sizes. Most hardware manufacturers don't include 'privacy covers' for their camera lenses, which they should. If for no other reason than providing protection from smudges and scratches, and as a last line of defense from unintentional or surreptitious camera activation. A small piece of felt and some tape works well, or a 'post-it', and is much less expensive, albeit not as re-usable as these covers. The adhesive on these covers doesn't leave a residue or film ( nano suction cups, not a a chemical adhesive or glue ). The outward face is soft microfiber. They stay in place. They are easily removed by lifting an edge and peeling, and then placed back over the camera when desired. The adhesive can be reactivated with a tiny drop of water which is rarely necessary. Reactivating the adhesive may be necessary if the cover is repeatedly peeled off numerous times. These are far better than a piece of tape, or a clunky chunk of plastic held in place by glue or a clip.

A good idea, but bad execution - not black and does not stay on well
This is a great concept, but the product falls flat and I should have paid more attention to some of the other reviews. One alarming thing, pointed out by others, is that this is not really black. The sides are white, making this very distracting on the device or your monitor. Honestly you're better off with a piece of black electrical tape in terms of aesthetics. The item description was "ALL BLACK" which made me think maybe the manufacturer addressed this and was emphasizing that, but nope - white edges. I tried using a Sharpie along the sides but it rubs off too easily and does not match the color of the front surface, which is also - not black. The "black" part is more of a dark gray compared to the black on Apple products. Not as "black" as average electrical tape. I attached a couple photos of one stuck in the corner of a screen with the light on and off so you can see what I mean (also the light revealed I need to dust badly :-) ).By the way, after a few minutes on a monitor, if fell off. I stuck it back on several times and it does stay for a while, but after a few applications and grabbing it with my fingernail the edges are a bit torn. These are going straight in the trash bin now.

is that Darth Vader?
It's not a conspiracy. Tech support and web conference calls turn on your camera without prompting. At 3am, they're 75% sure that I'm not dressed in my Sunday finest, and my hair is not coiffed. With this camera cover, they won't see that it's Darth Vader pajamas, and that I'm shoving an ice cream sandwich in my face to dull the pain of crashed computer equipment. And because I'm cheap...mulit-pack! Share with friends and co-workers.

practically perfect, if it weren't for the high price
Super thin and barely noticeable. They would disappear 100% if it weren't for the fact that the edges are white (but if that bothered me I could run a Sharpie along the side) and they are matte and not quite as black as my glossy screen. I cut one in half and covered up the lenses on 2 cell phones. I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars because the price is so high. I hope this review was helpful to someone!

Don't believe the negative comments from other posts
I have been looking at options to cover the webcam on a few devices and initially I was concerned by some of the negative comments regarding this particular product. After receiving this item and trying it out, I can honestly say that I was right to ignore the negative comments. This product is everything that the manufacturer claims. I ran my own optical test to determine what if any light could get through, and I could not even get a direct flashlight beam to show up. The cover looks good and does not detract from the overall aesthetic of my devices. I highly recommend this product!

Simple idea, perfect solution.
Love these. I bought a 3-pack and shared with my husband and mom, and they echo the love. Honestly, these stickers blend in so well on my MacBook that I do completely forget it's there. (As does my mother, who needs to be reminded to take it off when she Skypes.) Easy to put on, easy to take off, reusable, and exactly what's needed. (For the reviewer who complained about the white edges, that's an anomaly compared to the ones I have. But even then, a quick touchup with a black Sharpie marker's all that's needed to resolve that problem--a two-second fix, not the-end-of-the-world drama worthy of buyer's remorse.) I intend to buy more of these for stocking stuffers nearer the holidays.

It works well. There isn't a gap when the top of my 2018 MacBook Pro is closed. I've taken it off and put it back quite a few times and it's still adhering.

Easy to Use and Works Great
I use these to cover a blinking red light on my Zoom camera when I'm filming. The light can be distracting, and this covers it up.

Great Product!
Great product! Much easier to apply than the slide-type covers.

Simple Solution
As long as the adhesive holds up indefinitely (& I have no reason at this point to think otherwise), this product works great and solves the problem perfectly.

Nice different approach to solving this problem... however... still challenging with modern screens
I bought this product because I have been having trouble with the small metal sliding camera covers (which I love) due to the fact that they are not able to stick to some modern...

Well designined product
Convenient and reusable. I like the fact that the covers are soft material so that they don't damage my laptop.

Even work on a cell phone in your pocket!
I used this on my Note 9. I cut one piece in half to cover the front facing camera. I stuck the other 2 full pieces to the cameras on the back of the phone.

These won’t damage your laptop screen!
These are great! Easy to use. They don’t compromise closing my laptop and don’t cause any damage to the screen.
