Nice gaff
The gaff appears to be stout and capable. Quality of construction appears good. It looks like it will hold up under saltwater conditions.

Solid quality piece of equipment
I ordered this after I got a telescopic gaff hook from China that turned out to be a piece of junk. This one is a solid piece of well-made equipment. The handle has a non-slip grip that is solidly attached and unlikely to come off during use. The hook is riveted on four sides rather than just pressure fitted or with one long rivet.I would have given this five stars but for one small detail. The hook tip is achieved by cutting the 1/4 inch wire diagonally instead of sharpening it to a conical point. You still get a pretty sharp point but I think it would have been better if they sharpened it to a conical tip. I may revise this after I use it a few times. That diagonal cut tip may result in a more solid, less maintenance solution but I'll have to wait and see on this.
