I thought the tablecloth was supposed to be spill proof and stain-proof my child had a piece of candy and dropped water and it went through the tablecloth

It looks beautiful and easy to clean.

Polyester, beautiful rich plum color, but the cloth is not as thick as I had expected it to be and it keeps slipping over granite and will over finished wood too, but overall its serves the purpose well. It would work well with a rug pad but then with both the costs added i'd rather buy a linen/cotton tablecloth. It's water resistant (but not water-proof) so if you don't wipe away the liquids quickly the cloth will absorb them eventually.I use it over my granite kitchen island which functions as a dining table. (Could've been cheaper as its the same material that fabric shower curtains are made of - many things are overpriced on amazon.)

Great buy, I received so many compliments on this Table Cloth over the Thanksgiving Holidays, it is truly a beautiful table cloth, and washes like a dream. I gave the information about where I bought it, how much I paid and all pertinent information. Will definitely buy it again.

This is far from stain resistant. It stained in multiple places the first time we used it and we can’t get them out no matter what we do. Also, the “checks” pull when put in the washing machine. I used and washed it one time and it looks like an old ratty tablecloth that I’ve had for years. Dont waste your money!

Beautiful out the package but snagged in at least ten places and looked runched where the snags were. I flattened them out and have now washed it a second time and you can see there are many new snags. This is after I attempted to flatten them out. Would not buy again.
