Works well for the price
Pros: small compact size, PIR dome doesn't light up red like some do (I didn't want it to), speaker is nice and loud/clear with 4.5v (powered with 3 x AA batteries).Cons: USB memory didn't mount up on my Mac (Disk Utility couldn't even see it), but did show up in Linux. The "warm-up" time is close to 15 seconds after powering on. Speaker is all plastic with no cover, so be careful with how you mount it/where you place it.Used for: I put a small (44 KB) MP3 recording of an Eastern Screech Owl call on it and will be stuffing it into a small owl plush with the PIR sensor through its chest. My dad is terrified of these things, and its loud speaker will surely send chills with its shrills XD

Does not work
Like others have said, this is so cheaply made that the connection between the board and the usb input is poor beyond the limits of usability. Assuming you find a magical spot that will allownit to be recognized, it disconnects before you can do anything with it.Do NOT waste your time or money on this, and instead just make your own or buy elsewhere.

This is exactly what it says it is and works perfectly.
I’m not sure why other people had complaints about this. It was very easy to set up and works perfectly. I even had a question about hidden files and the seller responded immediately to my question, thank you!
