I like these miniature cards for playing games of solitaire or patience. They are best for playing games which require two, three or four packs. I get my games from a book titled Card Games for One by Michael Johnstone a Ward Lock book. Note: These cards are mini and cannot be shuffled in the same way full sized cards can be. They're not flexible.

Perfect for restricted space

I love playing patience but my old cards that I had brought with me from Germany to the US decades ago wore out after years and years of using them. I thought these cards would be good but they are not, they are super stiff and are hard to pick up because it it they are super tiny and to top it off I had cards left over after laying them out on the table to play my game which didn’t make any sense at all. The time frame to return them has lapsed so the cards went in my trash, I wish I would know where to buy the real thing.

The size was not as expected - too small! When I have previously had these cards they were approx half the size of a standard pack, but this time they were a quarter size. I realised too late that the measurements were there but regret I had just gone on "miniature patience cards" assuming they would be the same as previously ordered. They are too small for old fingers to use. I am still looking for half sized patience cards of a good quality not paper thin.

The size written was for the for the packaging... not the cards! I have [relatively] small hand but even i couldn't hold these. They are tiny. Plus the product description is written on German... not English.

First let me say, these playing cards are SMALL! This in itself is not a problem - we wanted small cards for travelling to keep the weight/bulk down. The issue is that for this price (£6.55 for 2 packs), I really expected more in the way of shall we say, 'glide quality'. That is, the ease at which one can deal, shuffle and hold the cards and in this aspect, the cards could be a lot better.I've included a photo of how these cards stack-up size-wise to a regular pack (see above) bc fiddling about with a ruler prior to purchase is one thing; seeing the contrast in an actual photo is quite another.On the positive side, each pack weighs a smidge under 22g which is incredible, especially when one compares it to a 'regular' pack weighing c. 80g. And for those of you who think it's not a big deal - trust me - it all adds up :-).Also positive, is that the detail/print quality is very good - sharp with good colours. One pack has red backing; the other blue. Both backs feature a singing bird in a tree - tasteful.The case the packs come in was less good bc whilst the case itself (clear and black plastic) was reasonable, there was a sticky residue on the lid and an impossible-to-remove sticky label bar code holding the top to the base at the side. It is anticipated that over time, this label will curl and become quite unpleasant to look at :-(.All-in-all, it's an improvement over the other mini cards on offer on this site (6 pack of mini cards for party loot bags), but not much to be frank and quite a big hike in price as well.Thus - I'm still looking for the golden goose in miniature playing cards!Hope this helps.

These two little decks are so useful. Great for using when travelling or when you are limited for space.They measure just over 1" x 1 1/2" so small enough for limited space, but big enough to be held easily.They are illustrated in the usual way, but a bit of a difference to the standard decks. Each deck is a different back colour (one is blue the other is red witha bird and branches on a backing of white. ) Each deck has 2 Jokers. They come in a neat and convenient plastic box. The quality of the card is exellent.
