Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  If you don't have a food sealer, for the price this food sealer does what it is supposed to do and will save you a lot of money in food lost to freezer burn. This is a small unit that is easy to store or to be kept conveniently on a counter top. It comes with 10 6" X 10" bags that are good for individual or small serving, They would also be good for foods like a small steak or a pork chop. For larger portions, you would need to buy additional bags or bag rolls that can be cut to size.Personally, I found the acceptable bag description confusing, and contacted the seller for clarification. I was hoping that this sealer would seal chamber sealer bags which are not channeled. Having used this sealer, I found that it will vacuum and seal only channeled, or lined bags shown in the description. I don't know where the folded sides thing fits in, but all bags and bag rolls have folded sides. I rated this vacuum sealer at 4-stars rather than 5-stars since the description for acceptable bags is not clear and it is lacking a bag cutter. Other than these points, this is definitely a 5-star product as received, but longevity of this vacuum sealer could possibly reduce or increase the rating.Although this sealer doesn't vacuum and seal the chamber sealer bags as I had hoped, it still can be used for sealing warm foods that the chamber sealer doesn't seal well. For someone that doesn't have a sealer, this sealer would be extremely useful for sealing leftovers and foods bought in bulk. The oxygen must be removed from foods to be frozen to prevent freezer burn. Considering the cost of this sealer, the savings in wasted foods would more than pay for it in a short time. Although I haven't used this sealer for long enough to attest to its longevity, I believe that it functions as advertised. If my opinion changes, I will update this review.UPDATE 11/01/18:I was contacted by the seller who clarified the definition of acceptable bag types, and included a couple of pictures. What is being called a folded bag is a gusseted bag. This type of bag does not require one side of the bag to be channeled for the sealer to both vacuum and seal. I have added a picture to show what a gusseted bag looks like. To carry this idea a little further, I tried folding one of my chamber sealer bags on each side to simulate a gusseted bag. This did work and this vacuum sealer vacuumed and sealed the folded bag. I have also added picture of how I folded the chamber sealer bag and the resulting vacuumed and sealed bag. Since the use of more bag types increases the versatility of this sealer, I have increased the star rating to 5. It still doesn't have a built-in bag cutter, but that I can deal with.My video demonstrates the features and use of this vacuum sealer in detail. I had four food items to seal on the first day. The first three went OK with some retries. Nothing after that would seal. Tried the next day after wiping it clean. Nothing. Then the vacuum/seal button wouldn't work every time. I'm returning it.

I have had this unit for several weeks now, and have used it for wet and dry foods. At first I had some difficulties due to lack of experience. But, now I am vacuum sealing all my foods quickly and leak free without issue. I have to say, I was surprised at the low price of this unit compared to more well known brands, but this unit does everything I need without fail. It seems like a great value,.... the unit is sturdy and well made. I would caution you not to store it locked, or the upper and lower seals will stick together and pull out when you go to use it again. I have also dropped the unit onto my floor, and it was fine. I would say this is a sturdy, functional food vacuum sealer that delivers great results at a very good value. I recommend this unit with five stars.

Love this vacuum sealer it is easy and fast to use. I buy the big packages of meats at the grocery store and now I am able to store them in freezer without it getting freezer burn.

it broke down after finishing sealing most all of vacuuming my meats when the vacuum sucks..so no to this sealing vaccum machine..it suck in doing what is was made to do. whoever is giving this machine a 5star, they got to be kidding..this machine suck..it barely vacuumed..

This is my first time buying a vacuum sealer. As a family of 7 I figured it could help us reduce freezer burn because I often buy meat in bulk, and also to help keep leftovers fresh. The machine itself is pretty easy to use, just took a couple trial and errors but I got it down. So far I've only been able to seal vegetables and small leftovers as the bags it comes with are on the smaller side. Very useful gadget, I will definitely be looking out for bigger bags to seal even more items.

Very easy to use, seals perfectly. I buy meat in bulk and repackage into smaller portions, this is way better than using zip locks. Completely seals the food .

I love my new vacuum sealer .I have use it several times already .this one was totally stunning,it is small and works very nicely,very easy to use,I bought it to replace a food saver.I’d used for years that he sealing strip died on.i was attracted by the price ,I was really happy to see that it does a perfect job,this very helpful.
