The blades are easy to fit and the curvature given to the blade puts it at the perfect angle to give a close shave without cuts or nicks. There is nothing to beat the classic shaving experience of lathering your own soap, massaging it into your beard or stubble, using a classic aftershave and so on.There are plenty of videos online showing the way to use a safety razor to best effect but suffice it to say that this one shaves smoothly in one stroke but can be used at various angles to get that smoothness all over.This razor really does look and feel the part, shaves closely and without effort. Top marks from me!My only recommendation to round off the experience is the purchase of some quality classic aftershave.

I bought this Wilkinson razor for my teenage son, who was curious about 'old-school' shaving and wanted to try something different from modern razors. As a beginner, he was a little nervous at first, but with his dad’s guidance, he gave it a go—and was amazed at how close and smooth the shave was! No irritation, just really clean results. He’s still getting the hang of it, but he loves the experience and plans to keep using it. Perfect for anyone wanting to explore traditional wet shaving without the intimidation factor. Highly recommend.

I'm not too impressed with this. It does the job, but's somewhat poorly balanced imo, the handle being too heavy, and the screw action to close the top over the blade needs a very firm twist to ensure it stays tightly closed and the blade doesn't rattle around.

Recipient seems to be happy with this razor, not had any complaints.
