Blue Bengal Cat Scroll Scratcher

Delivered quickly. Much sooner than even the first date from Amazon's "delivery date range." I like that the seller follows up via email to check your order satisfaction. And as for the cat scratcher, it is a much better quality than the SmartyKat scroll scratcher (for the same price). Sturdy and well-made. I have both, and ordered the one from Legacy Trading Co. because I was so disappointed with the SmartyKat scratcher. It is light and flimsy, and the scratch pad isn't glued down entirely so it's like there is air under it. The Blue Bengal scratcher sold by Legacy looked sturdier, and besides that, it also has the scratch pad located where a cat will actually use it...over the top, as opposed to on the bottom of the "S." It's impossible for an adult cat to scratch on the SmartyKat. I was replacing a worn out scratcher similar to the Blue Bengal and didn't notice, until I got it, that the SmartyKat scratcher had the scratch pad in the wrong place. Bottom line: go with Legacy Trading Company. Good customer service, same price, better product by far.

My cats love these curvy scratch things. They stand on it, jump on it, lay under it and abuse the heck out of it. The last one of these I had lasted several years and was shredded beyond repair. I couldn’t get rid of it because the newer ones in stores are not sturdy and the sisal is too far down leaving more material then good scratching space. My cats are Maine Coon, about 17 pounds each, so I needed a strong sturdy constructed piece for them to pounce and stand on. This one is it and worth the extra $$$ it costs. It’s expensive, yes. Still, lasts for years and will hold up much better in the long run.

Have had several curved scratching posts, and within a few months, I am replacing them since the scratching area becomes destroyed to the point of threads of nylon being exposed and a choking hazard to the cats. The first curved scratching post I had was like this one with the scratching area on top of the curve, where the cats actually scratch!! The jute is thick and looks like it will withstand the test of three cats. The carpets area is also nice thick carpet, and makes for a great resting place for the cats to perch and watch there domain.Cats need to scratch, it is just who they are!!! I will be back for more just like this since we need more replacements for the previous curved posts, that cost nearly as much for a lot less quality! This curved post has already been a big success and all 3 of our kids absolutely love it!!!!! Highly recommended if you love your feline!

I was hoping for something a bit more durable, when my cat uses it the scratcher moves around quite a bit. But the quality is great and it looks like it'll hold up to a lot of scratching.

Much narrower and flimsier than other cat scrolls. My cats all loved the cats scrolls from pet stores in the past but almost never use this one.

I think I've bought every single wave-shaped cat scratcher available on Amazon, and this one is the best. It's the perfect size (others are weirdly small) and is by far the most durable. It stands up to a LOT of use from multiple cats, and since it has carpet on both sides you can just flip it over when one side gets ripped up.

Has a permanent chemical smell and my cat won't scratch it. Petsmart quit making their wavy version that my cat loved and now I can't find the same kind anywhere. Really bummed. This one has a nice look to it but that's about it.

Years ago I bought three scratch Scrolls and they were awesome. Once they wore out I tried to buy them again only to find that everywhere I turn they were cheaply made and did not have carpeting on both sides and the edges were cheap where they would tear up very quickly. After waiting a couple of years and looking now and then this scroll finally appeared. It is carpeted both sides and seems made to the same quality that I was used to. Love it
