great for LANs
I'm using this for a LAN monitor stand. That way I can pack my monitor in a suitcase with the stand folded flat, then pull it out and set it up quick and easy. Outside of travel I wouldn't really recommend this stand. Another reviewer rednecked his with some aluminum channel to make it taller and I understand why they did. This stand is not very tall and there isn't enough adjustment to get it to "eye" level, I'm 5'9" and the optimal height for me is about 12" on center. This stand put my monitor at about 8-10" on center.Again, I wouldn't recommend this stand for someone just wanting a stand for their desk. But if you want something that is light weight and can hold a 27" monitor, this'll do the job. Keep the allen wrench on hand so you can tighten the screws as needed. I've found that they can come loose after folding/unfolding it, but it's easily tightened with the allen key. Also, the felt on the bottom doesn't stay on very well due to the stand not having a flat bottom, but it doesn't effect the functionality so it's not an issue for me.

Solid Mount - No Instructions, only 2 screw size options, rubber feet falling off
This could've easily been a 5 star review if the manufacturer had spent a few cents more to provide additional screws for the vesa mount and higher quality rubber feet. I'm using the mount with an ultra thin touchscreen and neither of the two provided screw sets were the correct length. Fortunately I had screws that I was able to make work. Two of the rubber feet fell off in transit. They do provide an adhesive backed felt pad for the foot but there's not really anywhere to stick it to on the underside. The good news is that once your monitor is mounted, the stand feels very solid. There's almost no movement / wobbling when using the touch screen.I'd definitely buy this one again.

Very adjustable monitor stand
I had a old-style normal-aspect 17" LCD -monitor that I use for my vintage computers. It was sitting up high, and the existing monitor stand angled it upwards, which made the viewing angle even worse, and had no pivot ability, so I looked for a VESA monitor stand and found this. It's very adjustable, and the vertical part can be angled up or down as you like it, presuming you can tighten the bolts enough to hold it there. The monitor part also pivots as you like it. I needed to use two adjustable wrenches to tighten everything, but it holds fine. I was able to get the monitor in just the right position as planned. It's all metal, and seems to work well.I would have liked if they used some sort of "toothed" joint for the hinges, so there's a positive stop to prevent moving, rather than just relying on the tightness of the bolts at the hinges.Otherwise it's a good solution to a unique problem for me. It comes with all the necessary hardware, and even had rubber feet for the base.I would buy it again.

Excellent for Elektron Digitone
I used it to support my Elektron Digitone synthesizer more vertically, which makes it easier to see and use. It has holes predrilled for a VESA attachment, and this stand, at its lowest setting, worked perfectly for my purpose.

Sturdy, but avoid if you have a wood desk
Seems well built, functions well and adjustable. The big drawback is the base. The bottom is bare metal with rough edges. It will absolutely scratch up your desk if you don't pad it with something. That's problematic though because the base is not flat, it's "hollow" with only the metal edges along the perimeter touching the desk, so very little surface area to work with to affix a felt pad or something similar.

Perfect to install a modern tv to replace a crt tv in my motorhome bedroom
My rv originally had a crt tv, but I wanted to install a flat screen lcd tv but could not find a mount. I bought this one and bolted it to the shelf and installed the new tv, Very easy and very nice.

Excellent stand, but a little cumbersome to set up. We fixed that with thumbscrews -see below
Using the tiny screwdriver/wrench to set it up was a pain, so we bought these (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BGT1GBT8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) to attach the monitor and these (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QC2YTN8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1) to adjust the height.Hope this helps others!
