1 Dose of experience and 2 doses of Life...
I absolutely enjoyed this book; the title is perfect because the wisdom shared will certainly come in handy for any situation. Radio host and motivational speaker Bridgeforth shares these antidotal nuggets with readers straight from her personal experiences. The foreword is written by Rev Miles, but don't get it twisted it's not because he is a Rev, this reader found his foreword powerful, nope not at all it's the honesty and transparency of his words like this sentence, "I was headed home after surviving a string of long meetings with smart people" I could feel his mental and physical exhaustion, but also his praise and excitement about how the Spirit is working in Ms. Bridgeforth'I had to pause and give the first poem "Spring Cleaning" an amen confirmation. This poem is for the reader who continues to hold on to things that should be released or as the author says things that no longer fit. Phew, take a look in your closet and see if you need to start spring cleaning. On a more personal note "Going Through" as the author experiences it has taught her that in the through that's where the preparation happens of that new thing. The example she gives was my aha moment check it out; she says when a cadet goes through training, he or she becomes an officer, or when a women goes through labor pains she becomes a mother. You feel this experience she shares? Wisdom in Pieces can be read in one sitting, but experiencing it along with your real life trails I guarantee you won't feel alone.A complimentary copy of this book was provided by 220 Publishing, for the purpose of this review.

Review of "Wisdom in Pieces" - Motivational Moments for Real Life
This is a very well written book of short, but wisdom sustained observations and personal experience. (Don't get me wrong, it's still over 200 pages). I found there to be an ah-ha moment in virtually every page. I am truly glad that I picked it up, and that many spiritual and philosophical issues dear to me were put into another perspective that I could relate to. Be resilient and never give up hope. I look forward to more from this author.
