Toymail Talkies (Momo+Hank)

My husband is currently deployed overseas. Before we left, I saw this product featured on Shark Tank and immediately ordered it for my 3-year-old daughter. It works exactly as we had hoped! It really makes such a difference that she can leave Daddy a message as soon as she thinks of something she wants to tell him vs. waiting until our next call. And she lights up when she hears Daddy's voice. It was slightly difficult to set up, but it's simple to use day-to-day. Even my 20-month-old can leave Daddy messages. What an amazing product! It makes Daddy seem closer to home, which is everything right now.

This is a genius product, that fits the need for my family. Our daughter is 8 and really wants a phone or other devices to communicate with our family and friends. We feel she is to young to getting into that just yet. When I saw this product on Shark Tank Friday night I knew it was a safe way for her to get some of the "phone features" that she would be completely in charge of. This product is the first thing I have ever bought from Shark Tank after watching the show since it started so it really spoke to me. It is safe (with the trusted circle list) I know she can control and send safe messages without my complete supervision. It gives her that perfect sense of independence that she craved.I love the bat skin, but also they are coming out with more skins soon (unicorn and bunny to name a few.) I also love that you can just buy the replacement cover when you need it so you do not have to re-buy the brains of the toy again. I felt the app was fairly simple to navigate (we have Android phones.) We easily informed our family how to get set up and start talking. My daughter finds her Talkie easy to operate and loves to send and receive messages. Plus it giggles and snores which is adorable. It has earned one the most coveted spot on her bed next to her other favorite stuffed animals. It brings her joy to hear the message alert and to be able to communicate with family and friends that might not be near us. We have family all over the country and this is a great way to keep in touch. She can also keep in touch with her friends that have "talkies."I am sorry to have read that customer service in other reviews was lacking. I had the complete opposite experience. We bought the toy on Saturday and it arrived from Amazon on Monday. We set it up and played with it all day Monday. Then Tuesday morning a new patch and our toy had a little bug. But I loved working with customer service, Marla was amazing and took all the time I needed and fixed the toy. From start to finish it was a great experience and I could tell they cared. I really could not give Marla more praise if I wanted to. She was a rock star! The customer service team and engineering team were amazing.This product really does fill a gap needed in the market. It is clever and fun. I could not recommend this product more.

It took me a while to get it all setup, but it was well worth it. Gave it to my 2 1/2 year old niece as a Christmas gift. I live in CA. She's in TX. It's fun to know (via the internal accelerometer) when she's playing with the toy. I can send her a quick voice text. With her mom's help, she can use it to send voice messages to me or her distant grandparents, or other pre-approved family members (up to 10).

I got three of these for christmas presents for my nieces and nephew. They were a HUGE hit. The oldest is 8 and the youngest is 4. I was afraid that it would be too young for the 8 year old but she loved it. I would totally recommend this as a great gift for any kid.

My 6 year old absolutely loves this! She talks to her grandparents and us whenever she wants. It alerts us on our phone without having to go into the app. It's great and SO simple to send encouraging messages she can have inside of her loving stuffed animal. She sleeps with it and it gives her comfort replaying our voices. Saves about 10 messages at a time. Was a tad difficult to set up, but once I read the FAQs I was able to get it, the cover on my phone was our issue. It's a piece of cake once it's set up and if you have issues the tech support was GREAT!!! I can't wait to see what else it will do when we get one for my son and they talk to each other!

Couldnt get to sync on android but had no trouble on iphone. On android sometimes it takes a few taps to get it to record a message but over all my kiddo husband and I really enjoy being able to talk to each other anytime. Would recommend purchasing if someone travels or lives far.

I'm compelled to leave a review for the Toymail Talkie. If you are a working parent, YOU NEED THIS IN YOUR LIFE! If you are like me, you are worried about all kinds of things. Technology and our kids... whew! It's happening so fast. This is a wonderful way to keep this 80s kid (mom) and my Gen Z (6 yo) utilizing the beauty of technology without the use of another screen. The first message I got melted my heart. Sometimes she leaves me these lava of love messages, and sometimes she sends me jokes or fart noises. It is the absolute best. I love that I can save them, forward to friends or family. This is such a wonderful invention, and yes it was cumbersome to set up. But, who cares?! Once you're there, you are there. I love love love Gory the Shark!! My daughter renamed her Delilah, so there's that! Ha So much fun to communicate. I got this because of my work schedule and on the go business travel. #MomGuilt Skype is great, but this is fantastic! She sleeps with her stuffy, and we have the best time. I love getting message when I'm at work on getting on a plane. Thank you so much for creating this product. I'm so very thankful I watch Shark Tank. Best. Birthday. Present. Ever. Got it together in a short time. Technology impaired Gaga (grandmother). Priceless, grand babies chat with each other and send me messages!! As per the moms they are "joyously marching around." And I am too. LOVE THIS!!!

Broken after 4 months. Conveniently after the 90 warranty. Not worth the spend since the company doesn't care about the quality of the product after 3 months.

My kids are probably outside the target age range for this product at 8 and 10 -but they love this toy.

My daughter living in Berlin, Germany, was really excited to communicate with her cousins in the US.

What I liked about this toy was NOTHING. WHAT I disliked about this toy was EVERYTHING.Could not get toy to work and after 4 weeks company would not allow a return.

My kids love these and I got a great deal buying on Amazon rather than Target. Downfall is that it takes regular batteries and being rechargable would be more convenient.

The product is defective. I’ve tried several times to connect it to my phone on my home WiFi and it will not connect.
