The heat output was amazing and the easily adjustable. Worked well for over 3 months, then the switches were less responsive. After 4 months the safety switch seemed to extend less and it harder to get heater to turn on or stay on. By the 5th month the safety switch failed completely and heater no longer turns on. Very disappointing.

We needed a space heater that wouldn't draw too much power for my fiance's home office. With several monitors, a printer, and a CPU on the same circuit, her old space heater kept tripping the breaker, and this is in new construction! The DOUHE Portable Space Heater keeps her nice and warm (today we're expecting -30F wind chills!), it doesn't draw too much power, and has good safety features. Not the most romantic gift I gave her for Christmas this year (that would be the new ring on her left hand!), but perhaps the most practical!

Product is compact, light and well designed. It heats up quickly and produces two levels of heat and one with just fan. However, instructions were difficult to understand as they were written in somewhat broken English. Reading them several times and experimenting I finally discovered that the settings are indicated by the brightness of the red light : bright is hottest, less bright is less hot and the blue light indicating just fan. The light comes from below the main body of the unit and just above the "foot" and in bright daylight or room light is difficult to discern. My other concern is the auto shutoff if unit gets too hot. Product description on Amazon says 90C and in another place says 85C . That's 185F and 194F. I'm not sure if that's measured at the grill or where, but seems very hot. I have placed the unit in a small powder room and turned on for a while, but unit never turned off. So don't count on this to regulate temp. Also, the grill itself gets pretty hot to touch. All in all it does its job and since I don't have children in the house regularly, I am less concerned about unit temp. to touch. Nevertheless I am keeping it because the pro of heating up fast and putting out a lot of heat is over riding. The I brought it to heat is approx. 20x10 and it heats it very well so that's pretty good. Also, it is very quiet and oscillates as described.

I wanted to buy a space heater for a small bedroom that I use as my home office. I prefer to work in a warm room. This heater is providing enough heat to warm up the room to my liking. It is also very quiet and I hardly notice any noise. It is small, compact and easily movable. It suits my needs perfectly.

Was looking for a heater to use in my bedroom that was quiet and small, but released a lot of heat. This is exactly what I expected! Very small but puts out a lot of heat on two different settings and it is SO QUIET! I can sleep with it on peacefully, usually set to the lower setting as it gets too hot if I keep it on the higher setting. Also the fan rotating is another nice touch! will recommend.

For a small heater - it's smaller than it looks in the photos - this heater really does a rally good job warming up my office, which is about 125 sq ft. The fan function - no heat - is a nice feature.

This unit worked fine for a month. After a month it started to make a loud vibrating noise as I turn it ON. I have to turn it ON & OFF several times until the vibrating noise goes away. It keeps getting worse over time.
