The whole product description is a lie there is no hand painting. It's a sticker and it's only on the front and not put on very well. I have sent a request to return mine because of falsehood in the product

The spider design was enlarged and moved up on the controller I received so you can’t even really tell what it it’s supposed to be you’re looking at. I realize things can be easily shifted when applying graphics but neither the spider or the web is in the part of the graphic on mine to actually look like a spider or a web. That said my nephew is 5 and will still think it’s cool and I will say the actual work done applying the skin is perfect. Just wish it’d been centered like the one on the amazon page

OK- I have to admit, the only reason I shelled-out the extra bucks for this, is that I have played MLB The Show every year since it first came out (2007), and I play through a whole season every year, against the CPU.So I get a lot of use out of my game controllers, and have had a couple give out on me, since the PS4 came into existence (2 previous standard PS4 game controllers have had the same issue: the L side buttons just stopped working after a while).So I splurged a little when I saw this new game controller, and have been using it on my 2019 season now for just a few days.For those who are wondering if it is noticeably better than the old standard controllers for this game......it is not. Same functionality, no better, no worse, just a dressed-up version of the old game controller.Now I do not care about any special functions, I just want the game controller to last, and to allow me to play the game. Time will tell if this one breaks down after a while, but this time I also purchased a 2 year warranty, just in case.64 years old, my baseball-playing days about 45 years behind me now, yet I still play a baseball videogame every day, during the real MLB season and beyond, playing with my home-town Chicago White Sox against the CPU. Pre-season (about 30 games), regular 162 game season, and then, hopefully, playoffs through the World Series. So I get a LOT of use out of the game controller.I guess the only advantage I see for this new one, compared to the old standard black PS4 controller, is that I feel even more like a GEEK, and my wife rolls her eyes at me a lot more, too.

This controller is a fantastic addition for those of you who are PS4 fans, as well as MLB fans. It is a phenomenal gift for anyone who is a fan of BOTH (again MLB Baseball & PlayStation 4), and it does play and react mostly like the original PS4 DualShock controller. I say MOSTLY because I've only played using the "normal' & protocol buttons and used the suggested moves and such (playing mostly Madden & MLB: The Show) with it. I've NOT really tried some the more advanced moves that sometimes appear online, nor have I played some of the FPS that require more developed button play sequences with it (I use my COD controller for that - but that's just preference, NOT functionality). I'm very satisfied with it, but I've marked it slightly down in the 'Value For Money' category, because it is pricey considering what the factory or normal controllers cost (about 20 to 25 dollars more). I'm more than happy to pay that one time, but for some it might be too expensive, so I'd have to say that is definitely something to take into consideration.

don’t buy this controller it’s been taken apart to put the spider-man stickers on with a clear coat paint to hold it down makes controller thick and voids warranty buy being disassembled like this not work 66$ just buy a 50$ controller any color with 5$ stickers any sticker

While the idea of this MLB controller is perfect for your MLB fan, the recharging ability lasted an entire 60 days or less. For the cost of simply a skin, the quality of the controller is cheaply made and is not of PS4 quality for the price. Stick to the OG PS4 controllers and skip the fancy skin. Disappointed for sure!

I didn''t like it or dislike it because it was just opened and the 10 year old child never got to try it.. It wouldn't charge and never got powered on.. and they would not make a exception "Period" exact words.. So they are not worth the trouble to ever buy from again,

The controller came with minor little buffs and like a couple of little things that just kind of say "definitely not a professional paint job". Other than that it's pretty good.

My son absolutely loves this controller. He got it for Christmas and he loves fortenite so it was a perfect gift! Works perfect!
