My dogs love it! - Actually smells like something a dog would eat
I have only been using this for a week. For now I’m reviewing my dogs response to taste and smell only. I’ll update my review for health effects in a few weeks. I did as the instructions stated and slowly introduced this into their meals. I cook all the meals for my dogs. They get brown rice, mixed veggies, ground turkey, and a splash of unsweetened applesauce. I have a purebred Great Dane, a Great Dane/boxer mix, and a German Shepherd/ Husky mix. All three dogs took to this product effortlessly. In fact I think they like the added flavor in their food. They gobble it up. I am looking forward to seeing how it improves their health. I always felt their home cooked meals were lacking even though I added various items like yogurt, beans, sardines, liver etc., to try and supplement. When I read articles online outlining the required supplements that should be added to home cooked dog food I became overwhelmed. So I began looking for a complete supplement. I found they all cost an arm and a leg for small jars that would last my three giant dogs a few days. I also found most supplements smell really weird and my dogs hesitantly ate their food. I was frustrated and gave up looking many times until I found Wizpet. This product has a distinct smell and taste, but it smells more like something that would be palatable to a dog. Almost like a savory smell or a meat seasoning. All the other supplements I’ve tried smelled like wierd vitamins or coconut or unidentifiable smells one would not think taste good to a dog. Anyways, I’m happy so far. I plan to reorder unless I find a major reason not to. I’ll be back to update on my dogs overall health results in a few weeks.

Great product!
My extremely picky German Shepherd Dog loves this on his food. He was apathetic towards his food prior to using the product but is now bouncing off the wall when it is dinner time. The price point is fair compared to other products and the shipping is fast.

Giving it a try and will update after a month
So today is to days with this stuff but I thought for my 10 pound dog a whole tspoon right off the bat looked to much to me so I am giving him less then work are way up to a whole tspoon but once I start seeing a difference or not I'll update this. I'm going to give it atleast a month and see if I start seeing any difference in a month cuz I see people saying they don't see a difference and it's been like 2-3 days like people it's not going to show signs over night it's going to take time to run threw the body and the body adjust to the stuff and then you will see the results just like if we take multi vitamins we don't really see or feel a difference in the first few days atleast I don't.

TEASPOONS vs TABLESPOONS
The product is fine. It's the instructions that are unclear. The "dosage" measurement are in teaspoons, but the enclosed scoop holds one tablespoon, which is equivalent to three teaspoons. Three teaspoons is the recommended dosage for my medium sized dog, so I don't know if I need to use ONE scoop, which would be three teaspoons, or THREE scoops, which would then be three TABLESPOONS, not teaspoons. I'm surprised that not one other person has mentioned this in the reviews. I'm even more surprised that the "manufacturer" of this product doesn't know the difference, either.

Multi-dog home can use one dry food and add this as needed
I foster nursing litters and puppies for the SPCA until the pups are old enough to go up for adoption, and I was looking for some kind of dry puppy gravy mix to convert my usual dog food into more suitable and alluring puppy food with warm water. While this is not for puppies, it is the most like what I was looking for, and all the added nutrition certainly can't hurt. Mama dog hasn't been as excited about it as I hoped, but will keep trying it. Glad it last longer and costs less than canned food, and easier to keep around.

This is the second year we have tried WizPet and I couldnt be happier. This year has been slower in the re-growth ...
My large boxer (106 lbs) Luke, uses four heaping teaspoons every morning; I make it into a gravy into his dry dog food. He has seasonal hair loss, no itching or irritation, just hair loss. This is the second year we have tried WizPet and I couldnt be happier. This year has been slower in the re-growth but vets say re-growth only happens 50% of the time on average, when treated. We also add melatonin which is a vet recommended supplement for seasonal alopecia. He loves the taste so much he waits several minutes before eating dinner, thinking we will add his gravy, AND, his hair grows back!!

be careful with this product
If your dog is diabetic, be prepared for high blood sugars. Ultimately it is my responsibility to check labels but I honestly did not believe that sugar would be added to a food supplement. My dog's blood sugar levels went sky high and I had to take her to the vet. We could not figure out what was going on until I realized that the only change was this supplement. After more carefully reading the ingredients, I found sugar among them. It is very disappointing that a company would consider it necessary to add sugar to a nutrient. I am now stuck with an entire jar of this that I cannot use.
