Not my favorite doodle book
Great little doodles but there are just so many ways to draw a strawberry or a peanut. I really like Zoe Ingram’s artwork and love her other gouache book and children’s books. I think I was just expecting something different.

Doodle your way to relaxation with these inspiring tomes.
This is not a book to show you how to draw different foods, but an inspirational book showing different ways you COULD draw those foods. It is fun to look through, fairly simple for a seasoned doodler to copy and inspiring for any artistic soul. I own a couple of these books now and definitely recommend them for the relaxing muse they are.

Pretty fun for kids and doodling fans
The media could not be loaded. Here's another book from the 20 Ways to Draw series. The series is quite popular judging by the number of reviews there are on Amazon. If you don't already know, these are drawing books for kids. There aren't much instructions, so it's a look-copy-draw kind of book. The style is like simple caricature and cartoons. The subject matter for this book is on food. So you get to draw more than just strawberries, but also things like other fruits, cakes, shellfish, mushroom and other edible stuff. There's none of those cooked dishes. So things to draw have simple shapes and easy to follow along and draw. For each subject, there are 20 drawn examples, so you either copy them or imagine your own and draw them. The artist is Zoe Ingram, a freelance illustrator and designer and mum. You can check out more of her work on her website.Just like other books in the series, this is pretty fun for kids and doodling fans.(See more pictures of the book on my blog. Just visit my Amazon profile for the link.)

A fun book for inspiration and reference!
I was trying to come up a cute birthday card idea and decided to look through my copy of this book. The book is not just limited to drawings of strawberries; there are cookies, donuts, mushrooms, biscuits, spices, cheeses, and other food items.Since we all have food in our house and we all eat so it makes perfect sense to draw it!This book filled with 900 drawings of all sorts of food is the perfect book to get a "taste" of food drawing and doodling. These illustrations aren't intimidating so that if you are a beginner you will surely succeed and if you are more of an advanced illustrator these samples will expand your "palette" of tasty drawing ideas. I have attached a picture of the table of contents so you can get an idea of the vast selection of drawings that are in this book. Reviewer Parka has uploaded a fab video that gives you a really good feel for what is included in this book.I also recommend the Royal & Langnickel Pink Art Watercolor Pencil Keep N' Carry Set to go with this book because it has everything in it and it is convenient for traveling. I have been trying to improve my drawing skills so I have been slowly purchasing this collection of books for reference and inspiration. The cake and donut drawings in this book are so cute that they inspired me to create a cute watercolor birthday card for my friend. Personally, I love books that offer inspirations as well as ideas. I think this book is a great value for the money.

Útil para aprender a dibujar
Es lo esperado. Lo único malo es que si pintas con rotulador se calca al otro lado.
