iPhone 4 Case, iPhone 4S Case, CHTech Brushed Metal Texture Series Hybrid Shockproof Protection Scratch Proof Armor Case Cover for Apple iPhone 4/4S - Blue

When the original case for my antique iPhone 4S started falling apart after many years of faithful protection I got concerned. After, all, it's getting hard to find a case for a 4S. But fortunately this one showed up on Amazon, and it seems to do a good job. It's not big and bulky, just a slim case which protects the phone exterior from scratches and the glass from face-down falls. I've already dropped the phone twice since I've had the case and everything came through without a scratch. The case looks so good that a couple of people have even complimented me on my "brand new" phone!

Looks good and fits in the phone OK. I was happy to be able to find something I liked for a phone this old. As some assembly is needed, it would have been better if the product had come with an instruction sheet. However, there are only 2 pieces and I figured it out. The rubber part goes on first and the plastic tray snaps on next. No problems using the product (buttons on phone work OK, plug in to the charger is fine). The item is worth the cost--good value.

This is a great case for my iphone 4S. I don't find the soft rubber part to be too stretchy at all. The harder outer cover fits perfect over the softerinner rubber part. The on/off button is covered with the softer part which makes turning the phone on/off very easy. This case isn't bulky either. It's slim and streamlined giving the phone very good protection. Having said that, I'm not hard on my phone. It was expensive to buy so I treat it carefully.

I needed a cover for my old iPhone 4, which I use as a dash cam. The iPhone was a bit to thin slippery and the dash cam bracket kept slipping, so I bought this cover. I'm using it with out the hardcase, since it's too thick for the bracket holder, but the silicon/rubber is a great grip and it's been sturdy. No obstructions, fits nicely...zero complaints. Works for what I'm using it for.

The cover I bought fits snugly, and it seems pretty resilient, the main beef is there is a stringer that ties both sides of the cover together that goes over the socket for the charging cord...it is very flimsy and I don't think it will last long

I like this case better than the original Otter Box case I bought with the 4s phone. It has the same ruggedness with smoother edges that seem to conform better to my hand. The built in power adapter was a surprise though, as I hadn't seen it described in the product description, and had ordered a 10' extension for the original phone connector. The power adapter is a great feature though, as it protects the actual phone connector from wear as well as dirt,moisture, etc... I was going to give this product 4 stars, being ticked about the surprise adapter, but it turns out to be such a great feature I'm going back to 5.

Immediate return!The case is in two parts - a rubber sleeve and a plastic shell that holds the rubber in place.-Tried cleaning the case before using (to get rid of polymer residue), and the rubber collected lint that I couldn't remove.-The case did not fit snuggly around my iPhone 4s, and so there was extra room at the top where debris could collect.-The plastic shell was not an exact fit on the rubber.

This product is well made and overall is a good value. Phone is getting close to the end of its life, but this item will hopefully prolong its physical well-being. This lacks the soft rubber flaps of the original Otter box, but those were the items that failed rapidly in the original, and from my point of view, did not provide much protection of debris getting into the phone.
