Be Careful with the mount
The mounting ring has a lock screw that is easily lost when mounting the unit in a vertical, hanging position from the ceiling or eves of a house. It's a tiny screw with a very small piece of metal to "lock" the ring assembly into place. If dropped in shrubbery as mine did, it's impossible to find. The ring is made of very mild metal and I subsequently twisted a screw off so without a replacement mounting ring, not sure how I'm going to keep this unit properly mounted and secure. The camera does produce a clear image but I do wish a somewhat better mounting arrangement was implemented.

Very misleading it says right on the the description it has Face Detection AND IT DON'T
Very misleading it says right on the the description it has "Smart detection: Face Detection, Motion detection, Line crossing detection, Intrusion detection, Privacy mask"I have been in the cctv sales industry for over 20 years and thought i would give these a try the main reason that i bought them was for the VCA functions everything seems to work except for {Face Detection} I FEEL RIPPED OFF!!!

Takes Updates like normal
Works like the OEM Hikvision. Also takes the Hikvision updates with no problemUPDATE 1/4/2020: It keeps going off line / resets itself to factory settings. Unreliable, has happened 2 times since purchase already. Reduced to 1 star since i will have to replace this one.
