Thanks to the well-written instructions, we had no problems with the cup’s assembly and adjusting the correct sip size. The cup neatly delivers thick liquids IDDSI 2, it was important for us because he cannot drink regular liquids anymore. The cup holds about 8 oz. But, one has to remember that with thick liquids you need to prepare a fresh drink often because the liquids with a thickener gets thicker that you originally prepared within a short period of time. We bought the red cup as we were told that the bright color dishes and cups prompt people with dementia to drink and eat more - It seems that it’s working as he consumes more liquid now. The large handles are quite helpful for his arthritic hands. On the negative side - the cup could be less expensive though.
