Unusable due to interference in my installation
I keep my IC-A24 plugged in and on all the time scanning my nearest frequencies. Although this adapter does work and arrived quickly it causes too much interference to use the radio at the same time it is plugged in. That did not occur with the OEM charger. Therefore in my scenario this adapter can ONLY be used to charge the radio, not to provide power while operating.
