The story is rather silly but secondary to the intriguing variety and creativity of the action involved in carrying out missions. The graphics are supportive of the Japanese based story and background. There is plenty of quirky humor both visual and verbal to help keep you entertained. The periodic sword combat provides some physical challenges and helps break up the shooting actions. I am about two thirds through the game and have been "working" for an hour or two for nearly two months. I am not making very swift progress but find this game play a relaxing yet challenging diversion. I have already ordered Red Steel 2 and look forward to more of this addictive gaming experience.
