I'll never go back to filing my nails with anything else. These files leave no jagged edges, no splitting, and no chipping. Although I suspect that there are other files which will stand the test of time a bit better, you can't really go wrong for your money by getting these. The travel size is great to throw in a toiletry bag before a long trip, and the manufacturer is even thoughtful enough to include both a carrying case and a protective tube for each one. Definitely a must-buy if you've had trouble finding a solution for filing brittle or weak nails.An interesting note: Some major league baseball pitchers use glass/crystal files because of the precision they allows for. The knuckleball pitchers in particular need complete control. If it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me.

I purchased these for the sole purpose of getting my nails to stop peeling. I think these have helped my nails to stop peeling. But they're not as miraculous as people had claimed. They are good quality for glass nail files and don't grow dull. They courseness will last a long time, but they feel kind of like nails on a chalk board - don't love the feeling. But they are certainly better on the nails than cheap emory boards so they're nice to have.

Bought these to use on my baby's nails and it's been working well so far! Baby's nails are relatively soft so there it's hard to judge if the texture on the nail file has worn down, but it's been doing a fantastic job thus far. The beautiful sea-glass-blue to white gradient is very smooth and doesn't look cheap which is a bonus.

I just received my nail files & they're amazing. I do not recommend sawing back and forth because it has a chalkboard feeling. They file great, but be warned: don't file excessively. I'm giving it a 4 star because they are kind of thick (compared to metal files) & the "protective case" is just a plastic tube.

I had owned another crystal nail file years back and was thrilled to see that I could buy two, one larger and one smaller. Unfortunately when my package arrived I had only one nail file, the smaller one. I had the holder, that comes with it, for the larger one but no file. When I contacted the company, they got me in contact with Amazon who refunded half of my money back. I would have liked a new file but I was happy with my money back. I gave this a 5 star review because the product is a great product. I have really thin, easily ripped nails and this type of file doesn't tear my nails, leave them snagged or jagged. I don't have to file them in a certain direction or anything. I'm not the type to spent forever on my nails, filing them a certain way so they don't tear. I can just file them quickly and go.

Do not file as well as they should for the price. I expected an excellent product which is why I ordered something that cost so much. I was not impressed. They are OK and that's all.

I was gifted this type of nail file probably 5 years ago and I loved it immidiately. It was so much better than any file I'd ever purchased in a store and it continued to do a great job over the years. My only fear was losing it. I had no idea what to even ask for when shopping for another, then came amazing Amazon and these babies. They are a great price and now I have a mini to carry in my purse. I anticipate these lasting for years as well; it leaves a nice clean tip on every nail it meets and if I can help it I will never use another type of nail file again!

These files do a good job but they ARE small. I would have preferred a larger surface area. I like the fact that each has a sleeve and also a hard tube, for better protection when carried in a bag.
