The parts were fine. It was more difficult to replace the LCD lamp than it appeared on video.. I ended up damaging the screen. Computer now junk

A Sticker.
It's just a sticker. You could do the same with a duct tape.

This vendor sold me a replacement CCFL backlight. On that page, it was strongly (very strongly) recommended to buy this tape to replace the tape Dell used to seal the screen. Come to find out, you can reuse the sealing tape dell has, and don't need to customize and cut anything. I almost felt as though they push this product just to pad another $4 onto the original purchase.

Shipped promptly and enough length to do the job. Received the tape folded over, which leaves a crease on the tape when installed. Thanks
