Shootig Chrony Ballistic Printer
Very nice Chrony printer. Easy to use and set up and works great. No more having to manually write down chrony numbers while doing bullet testing. Wish I had gotten one of these a long time ago.

Must let it warm up.
Took a while to figure this one out. Had some problems taking it to the range. Found out if it is too cold out it does not work very well. Better off leaving it at home and printing the info out later.

and it's as crappy as the first two
I'm on my third Chrony Printer now, and it's as crappy as the first two. Each one has its own unique problems. The first one printed an error code of #120 which is a communication error. I tried everything to correct this to no avail. The second one printed erroneous numbers, over and over until I cut it off. Then the third one.... it started out OK, printing the first three shots. Then it began printing zeros after each shot. I tried the ON/TEST button and got a string of zeros over and over. I've had it with printer! It's really a Casio Printing calculator that was "converted" to a serial printer. I bought a generic serial to parallel cable and connected a cheap printer to the Chrony, it works GREAT!!! The cable was $12.00 and the printer was $29.00! Chrony needs to RE-THINK their printer....

Worth the price, for me
I used the Chrony Master Beta for a number of years before getting this printer. I do a lot of load testing etc and I've always written down the data as I shot the groups. Very time consuming and sometimes forgot to write something down. Now I don't worry about it. This printer automatically prints the data as I shoot. However, there is definitely a learning curve, and its use is not really intuitive. Chrony suggests in the manual that you set it up at home and shoot over it with an air gun etc. I took it to the range to try it the first time, and didn't figure it out, because it took too much time. So I set it up at home and shot over it with an air rifle. That made it so much easier to learn to use it! So far it performs flawlessly. I recommend it to anyone who uses the chronograph very much.

Uses a lot of wasted paper w/gibberish errors
I get a lot of error printing when I didn't even take a shot.Uses a lot of wasted paper w/gibberish errors. Very sensitive w/sun light.I think the next time I'll use this product will be down range @ 100 yards where I check my grouping size. Each key = 10 points & the two LEDs = X score.Keep your money!!!!!
