KNG Disney Fairies: Tinkerbell Animated Lamp

This lamp is of great quality and is so cute. The music that it plays is very loud and kind of annoying. The lamp DOES have an option so that the music DOES NOT have to be played. My daughter and I agree that we do not like the music it plays so we have it shut off. The lamp turns on with a switch on the back or there is a button to press and hold in the middle of the red flower that is located in front of the lamp. With the lamp that we have you have to hold down that button while Tinkerbell does a little animated dance in the flower that she is in and about 10 seconds later the lamp will shut off. It is quite cute really. The lamp shade is made of great quality material and I love the "pixie dust" swirls on the shade. Overall I am very satisfied with the lamp, with the exception of the music that it plays which does not have any type of sound adjustment. The picture here does not do it justice, it looks so much better in person.

Bought one and it didn’t work, exchanged it for another one that didn’t work. The tinker bell function didn’t work ever on either one! And have been waiting for my refund for over a month with no contact from the seller!

I ordered this lamp for my daughters nursery. We are doing a Tinkerbell theme, and thought this would fit in perfectly! Unfortunately, it was not what I expected. The first thing I noticed was how cheap it appears. It is classic kiddie plastic; shiny and not as durable as it would have to assume. Overlooking the less then desirable appearance, I began to assemble the lamp. It was beyond simple, and the three pieces(base,Tinkerbell,and shade) fit together perfectly. I was only further disappointed when I turned the frightening little thing on! I made the mistake of having the sound switched to off. Having the music play may have downplayed the awful mechanical wheezing sound that came from the tiny twitching Tinkerbell! Poor little Tinkerbell has lost all her grace in this lamp. The sound coming from little Tinkerbell is something more befitting to a horror film, in which the toys are possessed by dark forces. The music did help to drowned out the poor possessed Tinkerbell. It plays rather loud ( no volume control), but has a pleasant tune at the very least. The lamp does have a main power on/off switch, which allows you to turn the light on and off without the display turning on. Bonus! However, this did not always work. Occasionally, I still had to turn on the creepy little display to get the light on. I am certain my daughter will get use to the noise and racket when we turn the lamp on, and once it is on it doesn't play anymore! All in all, I was very disappointed in the quality of this produce. But alas, as I hate return shipping things, I will keep the lamp in my daughters room. I can not truthfully say we will risk turning it on very often. At least it matches her decor!

I bought this lamp for my daughters bedroom. And it is ADORABLE. It was packed well and tight so nothing was damaged. It works well. The shade is purple with a cute fairy dust design that looks great when the light is on. And it took a minute to figure out how it worked. First of all there is a button on the back to turn off the music that plays. BUT tinkerbell will still dance when you hit the button. The first time you hit the button the music will play, tinkerbell will dance and the light is on. The music stops and tinkerbell stops working and the light goes off. Turn the switch (- 0)off then on. Which helps stop the demo mode the lamp is in when you recieve it. After that you turn the lamp on and it will play, dance and stay on. When you want to shut it off press the little button again and the music will play and tinkerbell will dance and at the end of the music the lamp goes off. HOWEVER if you don't turn the power switch off then flip it back on it will stay in demo mode and the light will turn on when you push the butten and go off everytime the music comes to an end.My kids love it. So if your buying this for a tinkerbell fan it will be a huge hit.

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing. First, it’s soo much cuter in person!! Second, Most said REALLY LOUD. Ignored because I don’t know, people like to complain about stupid things, but we finally got it today and 1. When I plug it in, it didn’t work. The light flicked on and off. I read the reviews, said the flower button controls the light. Yes, yes it does. I pressed it. Sound came on, Tinker Bell moved and all was good BUT sound is unfortunately REALLY loud. And when I mean loud, I mean, I vacuumed and you can still hear it clear as day. 😳2. You can turn the sound off! There are 3 buttons. 1 to power. 1 to sound and 1 to all 3. Only thing is I haven’t figured out how to get Tinkerbell to not move when you press the flower to turn on the light. That kinda irritates me but not enough to give it a low rating. My Kids LOVE this lamp. I might have bought it for my little girl but the boys love it just as much! It says it’s not a toy. Which I agree but the kids love that the lamp has music and that Tinker Bell moves so they will press the flower as long as I allow it.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! Sure it's cute, but the lamp I purchased died within 2 months and went through 3 light bulbs in that time. The spinning Tinker Bell makes a LOUD grinding noise straight out of the box. For the price if this lamp, do yourself a favor and buy something more practical; you'll thank me later.
