Awful! Was like melted bits of plastic and tasted terrible

Most dairy free cheese tastes like chemicals. This is as close to real mozzarella as I have found. In addition, it actually melts if you follow the directions. If you make it too hot it puffs up like cheese puffs.

I was really excited to try this, however, sadly it is not great. I have been vegan for over a year and am constantly in search of a cheese substitute. I will say, i do not think this tasted bad at all, it simply didnt have much taste. What I did like about it is that it does melt in a very similar way to actual cheese. It needs to be melted at about 500 degrees for 15-20 minutes and it really does melt and even get that browned natural cheese look and texture. I made a pizza with it and used a lot of basil which obviously burned at 500 degrees so i would recommend putting herbs or veggies towards the end once the cheese is melted and lowering the heat. Another recommendation is to add salt at the end in order to add some flavor. This product is not bad, just remember it is a substitute and does not taste like real mozzarella cheese. What it does do is melt better than any other vegan cheese I have found and have a very authentic look. I think this would be good as a topping for a flavorful meal or a bean dip or something.

we loved how it tasted just like mozzarella cheese. I just didn't like the added shipping price for such small amount of cheese. I would have gave 5 stars if better priced.

Was expecting something similar to real cheese smell and taste. Had to throw it away.

Tastes great! Melts at a high temp (400 - 450 degrees), but I cook my food, then turn up the oven for a few minutes to melt the "cheese"!

I paid a hug amount for this through Amazon and found it a week later for 1/3 the price at whole foods. It is an acquired taste but if you are vegan it is a great product. $3.99 in Whole Foods

Tastes great compared to other brands I tried. Worked very will with pizza, sandwiches and gluten free pasta recipes. It also has a long shelf life. Highly recommended
