RhythmTech TC4048 8-Inch True Colors Tambourine, Cobalt Blue

I bought this for my mom for Christmas when she mentioned wanting a tamborine after watching the music video for Turn Turn Turn by The Byrds. Its just a fun little instrument and so worth the look on my moms face when she tries to imitate The Byrds and play along to their music.I read in reviews that people use this a lot in church. I've personally never been to a church that will let you make a bunch of noise during service (?) but that sounds like a lot of fun too! I don't see any reason why this tamberine wouldn't be perfect for that.It's not too heavy but not for kids either. The handle is comfortable and the sound is good. It's perfect for someone who wants to add a little something extra to their music listening or dancing.

Nice tone for a reasonably priced tambourine. Needed one without a head for my drum kit and this serves the purpose

The handle could be designed better to stay in place in hand...it slides out of space as the hand gets warm.... Other than that, the tambourine plays beautifully. It has loud and beautiful sound. .

I bought this for a Stevie Nicks costume and it worked perfectly. I'm not a tambourine expert but I was surprised something so high quality was this inexpensive. It's nicer than any tambourine I've ever encountered? We ended up keeping it out because it's so fun to play along with music and really adds to the vibe if someone is playing guitar at the same time. A+ would recommend!

I perform in small venues with solo acoustic guitar and vocals thru a PA, and use this as a foot stomp rhythm maker. Rugged enough to stomp on, loud enough to be heard and not tinny sounding. If you are Veronica from The Archies you may want something higher quality or more aesthetically pleasing, but for what I do its perfect
