Required App, Wi-Fi Limitations and A Rest Button That Does Not Reset?
I hooked my first unit up no problem on my home Wi-Fi. Says it won't work on 5 GHz Wi-Fi so no problem, it found my 2.4 GHz and all was good. Went to install another unit at my sister's house that is empty for the winter. Unsure what their Wi-Fi settings are but assumed they had both 2.4 and 5 GHz and camera would find it. Nothing... wouldn't set up so I am assuming it had to do with 5 Ghz. Camera just sat and offered no help. Looked in the micro-miniature font manual for the reset button to start over as per the instructions. Book does not show this exact model but I finally found a very small hole in the camera and poked the provided key into it. Nothing happened. No click or feel of a button engaging and certainly no reset to start over. Now I am worried I just destroyed a microphone or speaker instead of pushing a rest button.Also... I have not been able to access my first camera via a regular internet address. I want to share the camera with others but seems you MUST have everyone you want to see the camera sign up for the manufactures CloudEdge app. In other words, no quick internet link. Anyone who wants to see your view MUST have the ability to use Apps and be willing to sign up for an account. Maybe I want to monitor the camera on my home computer. Guess I can only do it on my Android device.It's a great little camera... really. But just be aware of what I experienced before you commit.

Performs as advertised
The supporting app could be improved, but the device itself is functionally sound and performs well. It is controllable from remote, was easy to connect to and so long the WiFi is stable produces the expected results.We have not used the cloud feature to store the images, only direct transmission, and we prefer that for security reasons. Wish it had an on-off switch but we simply pull the plug on it when not in use.

A really nice security camera.
I have this camera in my living room and everything works perfectly. If you're having trouble setting yours up you might want to look at how to reset it for a second attempt. The night vision is amazing. I can do everything that it says it can do with my camera. High-quality merchandise. Highly recommended.

Exactly What You Want
Works like a charm. Camera is easy to set up, the picture quality is fantastic for such a small device, the two-way mic works well, the app is user-friendly. I was skeptical because of the price but this thing is exactly as marketed.
