Jalebi (Indian Sweet) Fresh, 1lb

I read some poor reviews on this seller but as I’m buying for my second time I thought I should input that their jalebi is absolutely delicious! I have such a hard time finding jalebi where I live now and it’s one of my favorite desserts. Any issues they had w packaging or freshness have since been fixed for sure. Def a great buy

I was hoping for Jalebi like I enjoyed fresh from street vendors in Gardez Afghanistan in 2004. Not even close. Wrong color - these are almost red versus a deep gold color to which I was accustomed and they have a stale, Play-doh like taste. Also - very dense, not light and crispy like they should be in my estimation. Don’t waste your money.

It really, really wasn't all thst for the price, it needed more syrup, and had a series of unedited hard pieces in the middle. Some of them tasted a lil' stale too. I've had much better I won't be reordering...

This product came in two plastic containers, wrapped in transparent packing tape. Despite that, some of the sugary syrup leaked out.Still, after using a damp sponge to remove the escaped syrup, I tried a piece of Jalebi. My first taste in about 8 years.It was delicious. I made room in my fridge for the two containers, I really like cold Jalebi, and managed to make the contents last just over 6 weeks.I will order this again, once I have lost the weight I gained from this order.

I just wish package will be better, I had ants in mine cause of all the leaking through the box.. I lived in Vegas at time lol I’m about to place again this time I’m in Florida ugh sooooo wish me luck lol

Tasted stale. I LOVE Jalebi but maybe i'm used to eating the fresh stuff. You can tell this stuff wasn't the most fresh by the texture. The sweetness sort of made up for it. I suppose if I'm CRAVING it I would reorder but I think I might try to make it on my own before then.

Since I knew that this little treat loses it's crunch and basically becomes a gooey mess after 3 days I had the Jalebi shipped by the fastest means possible. I had not read the reviews and was ready to really blast the quality of the desert if I had gotten a soggy mess. So I was pleasantly surprised when I received the package and the jalebi were crunchy with a little syrup still left in them. If you are able to make them yourself then that is the best, but if you are willing to pay for the fastest shipping and they are made the day your order is sent, then I believe you will be pleased.Update:I was so pleased with the first order I received that I ordered again. Made sure that it was a fast delivery and received something that is not eatable. I honestly tried to find at least one little sweet that had a crunch and all were horrible. If this company made to order I know I would have been pleased, but this was something that had been sitting on the shelf and I will not be ordering again.

I like the texture, sweetness, flavor and most if all the price. I found the value to be worth it. While enjoying this product with my friends and family I felt good to share an authentic traditional food.
