West End Knitwear Women's Brigid Hooded Aran Cardigan

Purchased this in navy, size medium (I am 5’5”, 148 lbs). I was reluctant to purchase it as usually wool makes me itch, but this sweater is soft and not itchy. It is below hip length for me and fitted, but not tight. I can wear a pullover type sweater underneath without feeling bulky. Love the pockets!! The zipper is beautiful although difficult to work at first, but after wearing it zipped several times the zipper is now working easily. I can wear this casual and even business casual. Beautiful garment and made well.

This sweater arrived promptly and was even better than expected. Beautifully crafted, it is lightweight, yet thick and warm and the navy color is rich. I am 5'10 and ordered the medium and it fits perfectly. It is slightly loose, yet hits all the right spots to have a flattering fit. The sleeves are adequately long and I like how the sweater is long enough to come down over your hips. The hood and pockets are nice details and also serve a purpose. I don't usually write reviews, but I was so pleased with this item that I felt I should provide positive feedback. I would highly recommend this sweater!

This is a lovely sweater, very warm and cozy. Love the tush-covering length. 2-way zipper is great, you can vent it at the bottom. Sleeves were too short, but since it is merino wool, I just got the sleeves wet and stretched them a bit. Will enjoy this sweater for years.

This is a wool, not too bulky, real Irish, beautifully knit, tunic length, sweater. Good price for this item. The navy blue is a vibrant true navy. I do not understand the "scratchy" comments. Not at all scratchy for me. I was delighted to get this sweater. However, if you have wide hips it might be tight on your hips. I wear a size 10 pant and the medium was perfect for me.

not only beautifully knit but it is the perfect amount of warmth. I wore to out on a damp chilly day and wasn't cold at Walland kept it on in a not so warm room. I was perfectly comfortable the entire time.. I so love this sweater it is wonderful. Actually my favorite piece of clothing.

I love this sweater. I bought a full size larger than usual so it doesn’t fit snuggly anywhere. The zipper front is perfect . Well made, pure wool and not scratchy.

This Merino wool sweater is exactly what I was looking for. Fit is as it should be, slightly generous to accommodate layers. Color is exactly as pictured. Length is below the bum. Great quality zipper and the wool is quite soft (for wool) I will be ordering in another color.
